i would like to have such a boat as RC model to use it in our pool.

We have already some playmobil ships and a Firefighter Sam boat in the harbour :Smile_child:

The kids love it, ok, only the boys actually.....

That bathtub event was amazeballs and great fun. Also vastly more creative than the space battles.

 

Can't answer the poll though. Obviously the first choice is easy, but the second one ... I wouldn't want to buy those ships, but the only negative choice is just wrong. No man is too old to play with LEGO!

Tried in once a week ago or smt with the space zao on my NA account. After 1 minute I found it to be boring, annoying and stupid.

I must say I liked the spaceships (I'm not stuck on that whole historical look thingy - I like ARP ships and spaceships, and Halloween ships etc.) but the space battles themselves... well, the ships were just the same old t10s, the map was the same old whatsitsname, the readibility of the grid-sea wasn't very good... in the end it was t10 battles with no stakes, slightly confusing visuals and limited choice of ships. It didn't really provide me with anything the t10 battles couldn't. It was a big wasted opportunity - imagine if (instead of cloning the t10s) they just took the base models but then made all of them zap around the map with 3 times their normal speed while firing laser beams that can miss due to alpha and dispersion or end up deflected/stopped by armor but have a firing line instead of firing arc and negligible travel time. The point would just be for this to be DIFFERENT, to be something that's not just a re-skinned Random battle with only t10. I would certainly enjoy something silly like that more.

 

Aaand then we're back to the bathtub battles - these actually WERE silly and different enough to provide the much-needed feeling of "you won't find this anywhere else". And this is precisely why they were so much better than this year's Space Battles that brought us little entertainment (although we did get some interesting permanent camos and - since I kinda don't feel like spending doublons on most hings you can get for them - I actually even ended up splurging and got a space skin for my brand new Zao. The fact that a silly cosmetic purchase for 8k doublons is my most positive experience related to Space Battles... kinda doesn't reflect all that well on the mode itself).

Amount space battles? Less than 10.

 

Amount bath bubble botes? North of 100 or so.

 

 

So yeah: Either make a game mode with sepcial ships where all ships are rather similar (like the bat bubble botes) or make it special botes (like halloween or space battles) against BOTs (operations)...

Haven't played bath tub battles but, from checking that video clip, they look much more fun that space battles of which I only had 3 matches just to get the container.
First of all I'm not interested in space ships at all, second space battles were too tiring for my eyes.

I am still amazed though that this ship didn't trip someones wire to get them triggered because of the name and the first non-trainable (pun intended) Torpedolauncher in the game.

Maybe next time. :cap_haloween:

Here's a thought, bring them back as a tutorial mode to teach players how to play the game.

 

Maybe create scenarios based on existing maps to teach positioning and tactics, have different difficulty levels to replicate low/mid/high tier battles, change the ship characteristics to (somewhat) replicate tier progression, perhaps a longish campaign with a nice reward at the end of it to get players to play it.

 

It could be exactly what the game needs.

seriously: i wouldn't mind if they bring back the tub for any event, but farming signals through missions felt somehow more familiar/easier to adapt to(?!) in space than in the tub. i remember to actually have only played a few ones in the tub, while i farmed the space missions down on like day of arrival.
