139mm guns?

Hi,

just out of curiosity,

in the current update patch notes, it says among other things,

Zitat

Fixed a bug which prevented Commander skills with a gun calibre condition (“… up to 139 mm”) to operate properly on ships carrying guns with a calibre of exactly 139 mm.

Does anyone know which ships, if any, this actually concerns?

It's bound to be incomplete but Wikipedia has several lists of naval guns and there's not even a 139mm calibre in there (yet).

Well, apparently they called it 138mm and the actual diameter was 138.6mm.

Too bad they didn't seem to have been using it on some kind of AA cruiser... that's what I was actually looking for... an Atlanta that throws around 40kg projectiles.

Mogador was a destroyer with 4x2 138.6 mm guns and there was a very post war AA cruiser with some ungodly number of turrets in either 130 mm or 138.6 mm.

Edit, 127 mm guns

The Mogador 4x2 138.6 mm guna and 40ish knots

The much prettier Italian Captani Romani class cruiser that was similar but larger. 4x2 135 mm guns and 40ish knots

The British Dido class was larger again and actually carrier armour, but was nearly 10 knots slower. 5x2 and in the second series 4x2 5.25" guns  32.5 knots.

Aigle and the french cruisers Bougainville (T1) and Friant (T3) all have 139 mm guns.

The French used the 139 mm calibre extensively.

The only attempt by the French to use the 138mm guns for AA was on the Dunkerque and Strassbourg.

And I do belive the kindest thing you could say about those mounts was that  they failed, miserably.

Pretty much everyone but the US had hilariously bad DP AA turrets over 10.5 cm

To be fair to the French the fact they went for quadruple mounts on those guns didn't help either.

And the poor ole Richileu didn't get her 152's working properly in DP mode till post war.
