Orion is extremely bad to play against (proof)

Okay, so I am a piss-poor player that barely has ~45% win rate on both accounts (Oh god, about 50,6% on my second one, RadioFighterYR).

But that's one hell of a ship I hate fighting against! Maybe it was not a bad idea to remain at lower tiers, especially due to this one ship.

I love my Orion, and I hope Iron Duke is even better... but is it? Because people I've talked to (friends, other WoWs players) tell me they did not really enjoy it.

It’s essentially the same ship. Which makes her less retarded OP than Orion as she faces T7 instead.

 

Orion is so ridiculously OP it hurts. And it is piss poor easy to play as one doesn’t even need to aim really. I guess WG had a terrible hangover when they released het so they hadn’t had a chance to see how she would perform in game.

In other news, players have apparently come to the conclusion that there might be some issues with CVs.

 

Also, careful studies have revealed that some players do not like the detonation mechanic.

Well the class also had a Monarch and a Conqueror.

But the last ship of the class was named Thunderer, so it could work.

It's the most braindead ship I've come across in this game. 79% win rate and 7.2 K/D after 100+ games. Balans stronk, tovarish.

 

Now of course it's going to be easy for an experienced player at Tier IV, but it just FEELS wrong. I spent 250+ games in the Kaiser, and it was always a very strong ship for that tier, but the Orion just disarms it with ease.

Fair enough, many seals were clubbed to bring you this message. 

My personal failings aside, my point is I know the competition of the Orion like the back of my hand.

When I first played the Orion I couldn't believe what WG had done. Kaiser was already sh*tting on Myogi and Wyoming left, right and centre. So what do you do -- bring in a ship that does the same to Kaiser.

It was intended as a joke.....

 

But it would be a cool campaign game....  Im pretty sure they could model the tripods in game...  and it would work rely well with tier 2 ships or even the Halloween ships.

but remember Humour and Fun was outlawed by the sad people who sacrificed it on the alter by W/L Rates, Stats, and the colours grey and brown

Graf zeppelin is a good balanced ship..

There is only one thing that needs to be done,

Nah... they implemented the Orion as punishment for all those Nikolai players, who thought themselves to be invulnerable... Boom comes the MoO (Master of Orion) and Nikolais start to burn down like candles left and right...

 

I wonder though, what You might be able to do in the Bretagne... 86% winrate (okay, 7 of 8) looks nice, too...

I got her through one of the containers missions, so the only battle I did in it was with a fully researched ship, but she felt like a beast to me. First attempt in a new ship and sinking 3 enemies (two of them DDs though...) and doing 69k damage was a bit of a surprise... the last time I had that was when I started playing... yepp, exactly.. the MoO

Is Bretagne as OP as MoO?
