0.7.2 CV controls are BUGED

Conventional controlls. Can't "drag" aproch path around. Due to left click orders. (And ofcourse the old one: huge increased ui lag when using conventional).

I had problems too.

Especially in cv where my planes would not react to mouse. Instead yellow triangular marks were placed on minimap. I had to go into settings and turn off "alternative mouse controls".

I also had problems using enter to start chat in one game, had to use alt or ctrl (not sure, as I tried multiple things) + enter to get out of the "locked keyboard syndrome"

I have problems too, when I use the Zuiho when I want to use the manual AA and click to select the enemy squads to attack they are selected but at the same time (and doesn't matters how short I click) the carrier sets autopilot right where I clicked. That didn't happened on the previous version.

Also, I played a game in my Kaga (which I will have to say, has maxxed aa too) and I believe that didn't happened (and I say "I believe" because I was drunk in that game and I don't really recall. But we won thanks to me, and if you wonder, I was sober when I played that game in Zuiho)

Yes, the alternative controls are changed, and now you can't manual drop with left click anymore, but you need to do it with right click.

such fun, much wow.
Its insanely fun to miss 5 strafes and 5 drops in one game just because someone changed your controls over the night

Another bug, this time in a replay: When playing as an aircraft carrier you can't select any of the squads with the keyboard (which it's useful for show the flight paths). It IS possible to select them manually with the mouse but on this case they don't show the drop zone.
Also, it's not possible to switch to third view ("sniper mode") either with the carrier or with the planes (and yes, I checked the "disable shift for carriers" option)

Dont have any problems, I have alternative mouse controls checked.

In fact after several months of not playing CVs at all, today I farmed my second clear skies ever in the Saipan.

Was a surprise to me

Those yellow marks should be from your "team aware" mod

On big map any click can end up being double click , so when you select planes with drag box the end of box will be new move order for all selected planes.

Yeah... The UI is just a mess.. Same for the controls .. if you fight against an enemy cv and you try to strafe him... The fighters won't strafe or you can't plan you strafe... But this is like since CBT... And it still isn't fixed... "Year of the carrier"

Horrible experience few minutes ago. I thought that last patches fixed the problems.

 

Playing in the Scenario with a Ryujo, after 5/7 minutes I couldn't change the path of the CV so I had to go manual to drive her inside the bay and then toward the point indicated.

Same time I couldn't select the ship target for Torpedo or dive bombers, sometimes the target get illuminated by the torps path but a question of milliseconds and gone! same bombers. Very difficult to manual fighters control. Some other times clicking in an area was sending a squadron there even if the CV was selected...

The cursor was indicating "auto" close to the arrow... That means? I didn't change any Control for CV since 0.7.1 so what's this story?

 

Tried to go to the Settings- Controls and check and uncheck Alternative mouse controls. I never used them, never set them up. But that bloody "auto" sign never went away. Tried with Ctrl X, X, and whatever but it was blocked in that bloody state of madness and unplayable...

 

What's going on with CVs?
