Or would it be because it got "farmed" and players gained quite a lot of (Free)XP from it.

I got Musashi on Narai, and Missouri on Aegis.

Narai was the best XP takeaway, Aegis most fun.

Sad news.

That would be Aegis....

Please leave your conspiracy theories at home.

In T7 there is more premium boats giving more income than T6. Also, in Aegis variant with lots of BB/DD in your team and/or T8 BB spawning near the carriers, it can be waste of time.

Narai is probably the most fun of all current scenarios, well at least to me. Sad to see it goes but hopefully it will return one day ... together with Dunkirk scenario.

I recently joined and play quite a lot of scenarios. Aegis and the one of this week, where you have to protect the airfield are really fun imho.

And if some here say Narai was one of the coolest, why are they removing it?

First time I played it 3k basic xp with Atlanta, way too easy to farm. Bad for business

If Wargaming says they are removing the 'Operation Narai' for a while in order to  improve it, then I say we ought to look forward to a new and improved 'Operation Narai' sometime in the future. The special scenarios have kept getting better and better from the very start with that 2016 Halloween scenario.

And I agree that it would be fun to revisit the 'Operation Dunkirk'. It was fun, and differently flavoured from all the rest.

I just hope theyr not going to nerf Narai xp or silver wise :fish_nerv:

I sincerely doubt it. Operations have been a good source of xp and credits since they were introduced, and a change to one particular operation wouldn't make a difference. That would take an entire overhaul of the whole operations system, in order to lower xp and credit income across the board, and...

...

...

...bollocks.

Seriously, though: I honestly don't see any reason to worry! :fish_aqua:

Fuu, I really enjoyed playing my Kaga in Narai with full secondary build, I managed to do a serious damage on the Missouri with the 203mm cannons. Sometimes I managed to enter first into the bay but had to be really carefull with the dds.

I enjoyed Narai but i agree it felt too easy at T7, in my Scharnhorst i did not fear that Missouri, not even in my Fiji did i fear it.

Now if i was in a Queen Elizabeth, Leander or Molotov...yeah i would be more worried

Perhaps wargaming could leave it as is for a period on the public test and limit it to T6.

Narai was great fun - but suspect that it was actually too easy for what was gained, hence the tweaks being done, hope it comes back soon.

Narai is way too easy to farm damage, all of the npc ships is linning up perfectly to shoot at. The only drawback is when the Amag and the 2 Fuso's spawn.

I've never seen an Amagi and 2 Fusos spawn in Narai. Are you confusing it with another OP? In Narai you have to escort troop ships into a defended base, it's the one where you have to slaughter civilian transports as well.

Indeed, only ever seen Allied ships in there including Missouri and Hood.

I really enjoy this scenario as it is, I hope they don't change it too much as it's non stop action and can be played with any class of ship quite well.

I'm following the discussion here and on reddit and I have to say I'm quite surprised by the number of players that do play operations. I mean... I knew that according to Sub_Octavian rouhgly 30% of the players are regularly in PvE modes, but seeing that many players speak up for those OPs.... puts things into perspective.

Props to those that enjoy the mode, I'm sure Narai will be back. Although I doubt it'll then be that easy to farm credits/XP.

Or to reiterate my question I posted on reddit: How many of you would still want to play Narai if the credit/XP gain would be put at half (or even less)?

Curious me wants to know.

Greetings

They're a good place to grind XP for captain retraining or to unlock modules on stock ships.

Operations are good fun when I'm tired but still want to play. Tho, most of the time I play operations for the reasons above.

I presume they reset the rewards for the improved 'Operation Narai'

No. Aegis for t6 and Narai for t7. Ive farmed Narai for 30k elitexp per game in my Atlanta with signals and camo. You know nothing Jon Snow.

Its the action pack one... my fav. So the only reason for rework is to make it harder. They could rework it under different name without pulling the plug. The reason is xp grind.

Heard so. I only played three of four OPs, are all the (apart from Narai, which is according to reddit over the top regarding XP and credits) OPs similar regarding credits and XP? If so I can understand even better why a F2P player would want to engage in those.

Gotcha.

Hmmm if I'm tired of high tiers I usually go clubbing. Or do a CoOp battle for simply yoloing in... I doubt that I'd help my OPs team mates with such actions :Smile_izmena:

Greetings
