Unless I see a top-down view with spawn positions, I cannot say much.

But it looks like knifefight cap zones which I do not like.

Knife fight cap zone maps suck when they give players alternative routes. Look at Haven which the player base simply can't work out. 75%+ of all BB players on Haven never enter contested zones even on Domination...

To me it looks like trap map.
Have you ever seen BB players contest anything? They either yolo or sit by the camp fire enjoying a cold one. hahahah

True but WG doesn't help by making higher tier maps huge and giving the BBs huge open bits of water to snipe. The average player thinks battles in game should be long range gunner duels but 20 mins wouldn't even be the start of a naval engagement.

But there are fires and torpedoes in cap zones. Those two things are extremely dangerous and harmful to this vulnerable class. If one loses a battleship there, there are only four left.

it sure looks beautiful. First estimate on tactical lvl... Not cheering yet. Worried about those 2 moonshape island area. Imo we have enough deathtrap cap maps (once in, the only way out is through your port).

Because FP, a thick torp belt, DmgCon 2, anti fire and flooding flags, 5 repairs and the ability to tank 100k of damage isn't enough :cap_like:

But they can heal 50% or something broken.

 

Funny to troll people in chat when your BB heals something like 30 thousand HP whilst they try to spam you.

 

But still not strong enough for some...

Only the western cap is a trap to be fair. 

And honestly, I am quite intrigued by that. Later in the game you will always know who is in there. 

So you can decide if you want to accept the challenge and step into the Arena! :cap_viking:

Look at the size of the caps / map, and entry / exit points.
Aka map is so small and caps are so close to each other that you can get focused from 3 sides easily, yet you have 1-2 possible ways of getting out if s**t hits the fan.
Yea, DDs will be able to drive around a bit, but anything bigger is a no-go. One more map that will end up as "who grabs the island first lives, everyone else dies"

Looks cool - but also bland. Same as always, some smaller islands here, bit larger there, equal distances, mirrored, the whole thing screams safety play.

Man, I miss the old Ice Islands & Land of Fire maps.

That's entirely subjective, of course.

It looks too symmetrical for an operation map. It does seem to look good!

 

I actually like having islands dotted on most parts of a map. Some maps have large open areas which I don't really like even if in a BB. If a DD is stalking me, I'm permaspotted and shot at and I don't like spending half a game kiting an invisible DD while my teammates only also want to flee, leaving me to dodge torps and shells out in the open for literally half games -_-
