Also, note that we (players) can only gift a Premium ship that is available in the shop.

 

I can't foresee which ships will be available around the 2nd of January, but I can tell you that the following Premium ships can not be gifted:

 

• free XP Premium ships such as the Missouri or the Nelson
   
• Premium ships removed from sale such as the Belfast, Kutuzov, Kamikaze, Nikolai I, Gremyashchy, etc.
