Those 2 references - I knew someone would get them Advent sounds like a good guess, so something every Sunday? Altho 1st advent has already passed, 3 more left (assuming that the world celebrates Advent in more or less the same way as Latvians do?) You open one door a day and (depending on the amount you paid for the calendar) you will find either a chocolate or a small toy. I think our 'advent' is different from yours... Ahh, we separate those 2 :D Advent calendar is 24 days -> 1st through 24th December where (usually kids) open the calendar and there is chocolate candy inside (also we start celebrating on the evening of 24th, I guess that's why it's 1 less day) Advent itself is the 4 Sundays leading up to Christmas (altho for us it's less to do with Christ and more with pagan winter solstice ) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
