I am very pleased that I am allowed to present a special Mod-Pack on wirsinken.de (my Blog, but in german only, sorry), that combines some well know mods but still, in my opinion, does not look overloaded. It started out with atmaxx putting togehter a mods i wanted to have and this tradition is carried on by Juger65. A big thank you to him for all the efforts! He supports the Mod-Pack and delivers the updates to me, most times faster then I am able to patch my client. The installation of the Mod-Pack should be as easy as the download and is described below. All that is left is a overview what is in it:

  • alternative dynamic crosshair (default: white) by juger65 (original by W03L0BED)
  • compact battleloading screen by juger6 (original by Roslich)
  • SP-bar in the new player panels (customizable) by juger65 (original by Roslich)
  • shipnames (white), ... on the minimap by juger65, atmaxx (original by W03L0BED)
  • spotted- and storm warning-Icons by atmaxx
  • chat-Mod (on/off, position and size adjustable, ...) by juger65 (original by Autospy)
  • damage panels with detailed damage log by juger65 (original by Monstrofil)
  • techtree and sesssion-stats in harbour by juger65 (original by Arnak_76RUS, BADoBEST, STL1te)
  • Consumables and more zoom in the harbour by juger65 (original by BADoBEST)
  • Main Commander for easy Commander change in the harour by juger65 and OlliN (original by Monstrofil)
  • Win% per ship colored shown in the harbour by juger65 (original by DragonTM)

Here a small picture how the mods look in game:

Mod-Screenshot.thumb.jpg.77adccefcdb6553d831e6800d445cbb2.jpg

Download is at the end of the article about Mods:

http://www.wirsinken.de/mods-was-brauch-ich/

Installation in two steps:

  1. save the res_mods folder that is found in your WoWS folder
  2. unpack the .zip file you downloaded into your WoWS folder

Hint:

To deactivate the crosshair, close the game, find the settings.xml in your \res_mods\0.7.12.0\alt_hud folder that is found in your WoWS folder, open it and find the following line:

<ngCrosshair active=“true“ ref=“crosshair.xml“/>

Change the true into false, save and start the game again. You can change the color of the crosshair by exchanging the crosshair.xml in your \res_mods\0.7.12.0\alt_hud folder that is found in your WoWS folder with the one out of the color folders that are found there as well.

Juger65 was fast and the new version of the Mod-Pack has been tested and is read for download. Compared to old version only one thing has changed: the damage panel (extended damage information) has been removed from the Mod-Pack. The reason for this is, that this part did use the altered scripts.zip file, what is still OK, but maybe a subject of change some day in the future. To avoid any trouble in the future we decided to remove this part of the Mod-Pack, but maybe someday it will return if someone finds a solution without the scrips.zip. The positive side of it is, that the download is now much smaller:

Today a small update came out to fix some small bugs, nothing really changed. But the new version 0.6.14.1 results in the need of a new Mod-Pack version as well, but juger65 was aware of it and already compiled everything. Download as usual:

As usual a new patch needs a new version of the Mod-Pack and juger65 did it already and now the update 0.6.15.0 version is ready for download:

Just at the end of this year, juger65 has added a new feature to the mod-pack:

- Consumables and more zoom in the harbour by juger65 (original by BADoBEST)

With this you can see what consumables and upgrades are installed on the selected ship as well as you can zoom in much closer on your ships to see mor details. This only effects the harbour view and does not change anything during your battles.

For the update 0.6.15.1.1 you can either copy the files from the 0.6.15.1 folder to the 0.6.15.1.1 or download the pack new here:

New update, new mod-pack and a feature returns:

damage panels with detailed damage log by juger65 (original by Monstrofil)

This is now back again and does not use the scripts.zip, so all should be fine. Yet the position of the damage panels are not adjustable, but this should come soon.

  • shipnames (white), ... on the minimap by juger65, atmaxx (original by W03L0BED)
  • spotted- and storm warning-Icons by atmaxx
  • chat-Mod (on/off, position and size adjustable, ...) by juger65 (original by Autospy)

The new version of the Mod-Pack is now live! Nothing realy changed, besides that the filter for the ships in the harbour are reworked so you can choose, nation, class and tier right above the carousel.

Download as usual: http://www.wirsinken.de/mods-was-brauch-ich/

The new mod-pack version does not only update the mod-pack for patch 0.7.2.2, but adds a new feature to the mod-pack: Main Commander Mod. With this mod, you can set a main commander for each ship (right mouse button menu) and easy transfer him from one ship to an other, as one commander can be main commander for different ships. No more "Where is that guy?"-searching for the correct captain for your ships. Here are some pictures made by juger65 that explain the easy to use mod:

You can find the mod-pack download as usual on my blog:

And as usual a big thank you to juger65 for updating the mod-pack all the time and who did the translation (into german) of the new main commander mod.

As usual juger65 was lighting fast with his work and so the update for the mod-pack was ready 2 days ago. Due to the delay of the patch (for good reasons) the update is now live and ready. Thank you to juger65 for his good work again.

The content of the mod-pack did not change, only was checked to be working with the new 0.7.3.0 version of the game. The download can be found as usual on my blog:

A big thanks to Juger65 who did finish the mod-pack right away, even though he is struggling with his health lately. Get well soon! Please send all the best wishes to him and thank him for his work and all the time he spends.

Nothing changed with this version of the mod-pack, it was just adjusted for the new update. The download can be found here as usual:

Small update to the game and new download for the mod-pack. If you already have the mod-pack installed, you can simply rename the 0.7.5.0 folder to 0.7.5.1 or copy the files.
