How to link steam account?

Recently uninstalled wows due to a failed update, was going to DL it again but noticed its in the steam store now so I got it from there. How on earth do I log into my account with the steam version, its asking me for a new user name with no option to log in with my well used account.

It is officially impossible to do that.

But there is a Youtube tutorial with a workaround, you just have to find it ^^

Yeah...it's a stupid idea from a players' viewpoint, but completely reasonable from the marketing's

Just so you know. The method above dont really work. What you do then is basically add the game as a non-steam game. You want have access to the usual Steam stuff like achievements
