I have made a camouflage mod that gives every nation a nation specific monotone grey colour, well except for USN that for two of the camos get haze grey and dark grey. There have also been made changes to some of the premium camos as well and all of the special events ones.

In case you do not like the colours the original camouflages.xml has been added to the .zip file for your convenience if you want to undo some of the alterations.

Installation: place in res_mods folder in the current 0.6.15.1 folder; adjust as newer versions comes along.

camouflages.rar

camouflages_0.6.15.0_original.rar

*28DEC2017* 0.6.15.0 camouflages.xml is compatible with WoWS version 0.6.15.1

Without having looked at the XML entries for the North Carolina in detail - it should be possible to simply swap the lines defining the textures and colour scheme for the respective camouflages.

However, you should decide if you actually want to do that. No disrespect to KimTheDane, but what if tomorrow someone else asks you if you can switch the camouflages back? Sooner or later you have to make somebody unhappy. So I would only do this if you agree that it improves the mod.

Do you mean these numbers?

Quote

<colorScheme>
    <name>colorSchemeGER01</name>
    <color0>0.170 0.180 0.182 0.700</color0>
    <color1>0.010 0.010 0.010 1.000</color1>
    <color2>0.447 0.431 0.431 1.000</color2>
    <color3>0.040 0.047 0.068 1.000</color3>
</colorScheme>

They are the RGBA colour values for the camouflage. The camouflage textures always use red, green, blue and black. In the game, those colours are replaced by these values in the XML file. To get the colour in the more common notation with 256 steps per channel, you have to multiply by 255*. Colour 0 would thus be RGB(43,46,46), a dark grey. The last number is the opacity, i.e. how well the camouflage paint covers the bare ship - in the case of colour 0 that would be 70%.

*Full disclosure: I have so far not tried changing any of these values, so I can't be 100% percent certain that this is the correct factor, but anything else than 255 would be a really strange programming choice.
