So this is from the "November Calendar", which you can see here: https://worldofwarships.eu/en/news/common/nov-cal/

Things in italic are where I had nothing, post down in the comments if you can figure out what's there.

I mean, people will be searching for it (or skipping the searching and just asking) anyway.

Quote

Sales and Surprises

  • Two vessels, celebrating their 85th and 80th anniversaries respectively, return together to the Premium Shop
  • Nothing says "thank you for your service" like discounts and missions (But, seriously, thank you!)
  • That’s what He said! (For real this time!)
  • Preparing for the Invasion
  • No more kidding around! That destroyer you keep asking about is finally arriving
  • The armada returns, and it’s bigger than ever
  • Get mo’ camo!

  • So 1932 and 1937 and "returning". That's [most likely] Duca d'Aosta as 1932 and Sims as 1937 (as HSF Herekaze probably wouldn't fit here)
  • Thanksgiving? This is the same as on NA as far as I know. So.. 4th thursday of November? (23rd November)? Or maybe something to do with the Guadalcanal missions (naval battles there)?
  • Huang He released
  • Operation Torch (started 8th Nov) -> Brittish-UnitedStates invasion in North Africa -> could be release of  Massachusetts as she participated (thanks to @philjd )
  • Kidd released
  • Most likely something like this -> https://worldofwarships.com/en/news/common/aw-ship-son/ just with more stuff (thanks to @philjd )
  • not a clue (but the mo' probably isn't a Missouri reference, it's just being "hip with the youth, yo!") // Maybe Movember & mustaches on ships? (by @Salentine )
  • Cool 1

Mo is probably the Missouri, which often goes by the nickname "The Mighty Mo".

The armada to me could imply a Spanish ship, as it is a Spanish word.

The only invasion in November I can think of would be the 30th November Russia invading Finland. Not quite sure how that translates into a game with ships

Guadalcanal?

Isn't 'Sales and Surprises' related to the WG US premium shop only?

Sloppy copy/pasta from WG EU unless they're unifying literally everything for Steam.

Confirmed in the calendar that it's happening, just guessing if that event is the same

Can't have a Spanish ship returning if we don't have one here previously

Should be "everyone gets the same" now

Well if they don't unify things for Steam they could face a rather large backlash on the Steam platform, the comments and upvotes/downvotes on Steam are visible to a large number of people and a not insignificant proportion of the PC gameplaying public. Far more than on this forum and the likes of Reddit.

Going to the Steam platform has a few risks, I wonder if they have considered those carefully.

Not really, I was responding to @creamgravy's comment, but I could have quoted to make it clearer in hindsight.

The Mo comment may include some garish camo like the Texas stars and stripes one?

Ahh, that makes sense, haha :cap_like:

its written as "mo' " without capital letters and with that apostrophe indicating the "youth language", a.k.a. shorter version of more. Remember this s copy pasta from NA :Smile_teethhappy:

Guadalcanal didn't have any invasion in November.

Ahhh...eureka....  operation Torch !

(North Africa)

Which probably means the release of the Big Mammie ;)

Wasn't the naval battle part of an attempt by the Japanese to recapture the airfield?

Just a guess, I could be wrong.

Unless the "Invasion" is some kind of terrible inv-asian pun and refers to the pan asian DD line

The US Massachusetts (sic) was part of the USN covering force during operation Torch and battled with the partially completed Jean Bart.

At least I know that I won't be stuck with the useless CB missions till the 21/12...

Missouri also had a real camo before the Ms 22 depicted in game, maybe another skin with this prior scheme is to be released.

Dunno if they are in the premium shop permanently, but the date of comissioning fit the Indianapolis (11.1932), and Blyska (11.1937) as well.

Those would be commissions, the 3 that I wrote are laid down on those years.

And yeah, Indianapolis is in the Prem Shop, Blyska isn't.
