When i try to start the game i get this:

I have the same problem. The problem occurred, when Windows 10 installed a big update #1709. I have the Windows 10 N version - without a media pack.

I have reinstalled the game, with no succes. No help to get, so I'm out of this game after so many years? (Have Tier VII ships, and are using purchased gold)

Same for me I have tried fresh install of both game and drivers and cleaned up my c++

 

Still get ctd with this message

I sent a ticket see what pearls of wisdom support offer, probably none.
