Once again total friggin diks ruin the game, I got a double strike and created all manner of shite for reds, Schiff was down to 4k and trying to keep a cap, while the Shimi which I never saw kept capping. With unlimited time there would have been only one winner "ME !!", 1 Torp, another single fire or a few salvo's would've seen the BB dead, and since getting re-acquainted with Yeuyang I've got 100% record against Seals, sorry Shimi's (you know who you are ;-P) ). Best player win ; NO !!! way to go WG, you manage a fair game !!. The art of Carrying and the rewarding of it is dead. (I killed more than anyone, got a double strike, survived the game and capped 3 caps), and yet look at my XP, so 3 ships I sank all finished higher than me, did they cap, did they kill many ?. If the game were properly managed “ranked” would identify the best players within a game, the current system like WR is down to the team’s performance and we all know how dense a lot of team mates are. MR CONWAY, is that fair ?????. Btw the Schlief and Stalingrad got exactly what they were due; Sweet FA, both charged in and got blapped, in Schliefs case it went head to head with a Kremlin and Hindy, all he had to do was wait 1 minute (oh what there’s a map 😱😱😱😱), He died as my first set of torps took out the Kremlin swiftly followed by the Hindy. Apparently I can get 3 kills in T61 while having a conversation with someone IRL and using one hand to hold my phone. Because you know, the ship is totally normal. Anyway, my greatest achievement today was winning a battle after only four consecutive losses. It usually takes five or six consecutive defeats before my team wins. [S-O-M] MadBadDave Players 1,355 posts Report post #20582 Posted August 3, 2022 More of the same; bad games, a dire game thanks to WG’s Op paper CV and RNG (First ranked in under strength Haragumo killed by detonation from Nakimov planes), some good games and a few very good games, personally I think the players in brawl are better than those in Ranked, with the odd exception, as per usual waiting time for a BB is two weeks, a DD 10 seconds, T8 and T9 would be better than T7’s though imho !!. A very different Akizuki, but has the same charm In this battle I did not leave my cap until I was sunk. I was contesting Asashio, and he obviously outspotted me, but what PA smokes are for. His support consisted of 3 BBs (Kearsage, Tirpitz and North Cal) and Schohrs. I had also support - Rupprecht, Constellation and Kutuzov. I managed to drive away Asashio, harassed all 3 BBs for a bit and then Schohrs charged and blocked the cap, hid behind the island. Meantime Asashio finished off Rupprecht and I sunk Tirpitz. Schohrs peaked out from behind the island and rest of Reds charged into the cap. All these 8 cits are on Schohrs, poor bastard Constellation finished him off, but was blasted out of the water by North Cal, which in turn fell a victim of my Fenyangs AP. All that was happening on close ranges, about 6km, I got out of smoke for a sec and Kearsage that was now 4km from me almost killed me. Asashio was in the cap as well and got cocky, tried to finish me off and bum - AP in action again, few secs after NCal he went under. I had like 100hp left so the only option was to rush Keasage and sell him 4 fishes, he bought them all but did not sunk and got me at the end. Kutuzov burnt him down a bit later. I am contesting two caps, A&B, with the Hidenburg and after we cap A we hold to figure out the play before we decide to push their flank to B like a red hot knife through Butter... RNG for once was on my side and my aim did not let me down. On the opposite side of the map our Minotaur gets deleted within six minutes of the game after exposing his broadside to the enemy Preussen and the other GK dies in a pointless trade with the enemy Preussen when it was close to death already from Mino Torps ... Our near full HP GK ramming a Preussen with 12k hp... Like so cool dude... (That was sarcasm by the way)... Our Republique is totally woeful, Republique cannot hit a thing and tactics obviously mean something different to him/her... Republique ends the game on the base line of the mini map probably trying to figure out the route to the next game... Shima holds the C cap and does enough to hold off the enemy Shima and Smolensk as I break out after capping B with Hindenburg to molest the enemy GK and Smolensk... I nail the enemy GK.. As I got the Smolensk allied Shima succumbs to the torps of the enemy DD... I think our Shima had focussed on spotting Smolensk and forgot the DD to his rear. So we hold two caps, we're in the 900 points range, so I tell Hindenburg to run from the cap that the enemy Shima has just taken so we can win by the points clock... About 20 seconds after Hindenburg turns to follow me 15 Shima torps fly through the very location Hindenburg would have been had it not disengaged. Two ships get a +1 from me.. [S-O-M] MadBadDave Players 1,355 posts Report post #20586 Posted August 4, 2022 Different day, same story, total friggin idiots, This is from the last game of the day; my first outing in shiny this time around (Brawl), best player?, that's easy ;-), Surrey and Gne played unbelievably badly, New Orleans went down first, leaving me 2vs1 and omfg headless chicken, Gne beaches himself, Surrey goes for a cruise and then tries to charge me = blapped, Gne had a limp wristed duel, unlike me he didn't have full secondary build and instead of making an effort of it, he turned away, leaving me to chase him with zero fear of torps, he didn't last long. One of the 2 players with a SINGLE brain cell would have beaten me / won. We often hear about the laughable developments from WG, any chance we can hear the one about how WG are going to rectify the ability imbalance which IS harming the game !!. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

[GJE] dommo77 Players 939 posts 11,373 battles Report post #20588 Posted August 5, 2022 Aaaand after a string of humiliating defeats and display of poor performance (on my part, but to be honest what can you do when game lasts 6 mins...) finally managed to have a good game in Yammy. I like the guns, but I expected more. I think it may be my aim on long distances, I don't usually snipe in BBs (and I prefer DDs and close quarter play), but many shots even when penetrate does disappointing damage. On CV thread I posted example of 7 hits that did about 1500hp damage on Max Immelmman. But in this game - and it was a nailbaiter, we were losing on points and it was undecided till the end - guns were working better. And this huge mastodon require a lot of planning - if you don't want to just sit at the back and sling shots at 28km. I even bought legendary upgrade before that battle, seems to work :) But going back to the battle - our Conde was a boss, on his own fought on the flank for half a battle after others died, and gave us time to wipe up our part of the map. Still we were losing on points and caps, our sub had brain cells (he survived after all) and capped for us, and I went around the island and finished off last 2 cruisers seconds before the end when they were busy exchanging punches with Conq and Shima. Rushed a surprised Yamato and Petro, killing them with a few salvos. The rest of the enemy team was in disarray not sure if they should run away or fight us. Thanks to that we won in a few minutes and i was the only victim shortly before the game ended. No point showing a screen shot because you all know the outstanding ability of the player base, comparable to a WG Developer, Boris, Putin and any other idiot you can think of !!. I kept running and spamming towards the CV (which came at me for some reason, next to Schlieffen) I was a bit pissed when I saw this bullcrap. Floods and fire at various points..but nono. Please do note the FUSO player, who went afk very quickly, he / she probably threw their toys out of the cot because team mates got kills ??.
