[-URK-] wot_2016_gunner Players 2,588 posts 6,830 battles Report post #19354 Posted December 30, 2021 So, haven't posted in a bit: today i got Mackensen; used a couple of premium days (one from the 5 epochs collection which i now have completed) Tomorrow i'll get Dreadnought from the dockyard As far as WT goes: i spaded the TBF Avenger and got the PBY-5A and the B-18 Bolo then i played the Ju-87G-1, which was an absolute meme machine at 1.3 and got the Bv-138 while spading it spoiler for more screenshots Spoiler how to land properly a heavily damaged aircraft 101 second landing, the friendly Avenger stopped just beside me ending of that battle then, they gave away 3 rank 1 premiums: a american PT boat; the Panzer II DAK and the Bf-109A they also gave 1 week of premium which they however removed because it was only for new players, tho i still managed to use space the Tenzan and grind the Suisei here's the Suisei And today i played the Ju-87G-2, which unfortunately doesn't feel as "good" as the G-1, mainly due to it being at 1.7 instead of 1.3 (and you do feel it), still managed to get the Dora-3 4 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

My team members were still whining that the GK (Me) never did anything.... Apart from capping, supporting the ANNAPOLIS in chasing off the enemy GK, CONQ and PETRO... Then nailing Satsuma with one Salvo which gave me 5 Citadels and Satsuma is gone... [EZKIL] Sir_Sinksalot Players 1,510 posts 8,243 battles Report post #19367 Posted December 31, 2021 The noob random battle adventures continue and I've hit the next BB milestone though I mostly played my T9 BB's in Arms Race and my only single T10 BB in Ranked Battles, neither of which count towards these random battle achievements are slow coming. I'd describe myself best as "The Tomato with a Yamato" honestly I'm not really enjoying random battles much lately and I've only about 67 of the 100 battles needed to maybe get that elite BB achievement and honestly I just don't think I'm all that interested in playing much of random battles for a while. They're more frustrating than fun and I start to turn into a dik on the back of several rofl stomp losses. Probably just a case of playing the game too much lately and definitely a big scoop of noob on my part, genuinely noob, not being cute about it. I do like the Yamato however and it's big guns certainly alleviate and forgive a lot of my noobiness by having the capacity to overmatch the bow of a lot of ships. You never really know what's going to happen when shells land on an enemy ships with the Yamato and that's part of the fun. A battle can be going relatively quietly and unimpressively in regards damage dealing and suddenly you flatline a full hp cruiser and fall off the chair laughing. Obviously I'm always looking around for some target ship that have committed to a hard turn and to catch him right on the broadside mid-turn but it doesn't always give citadels and perfectly aimed mid-range shots can troll and not give the huge damage or kill they really should have but I guess that's probably the same with all ships and maybe a lot of that just comes back to me having absolutely no idea what I'm doing. I've tried to be more daring in the begging of battles by pulling up to islands and getting crossfire shots on targets but sadly I've always regretted it since it just backfires and that crossfire I was looking to implement because a crossfire on me instead lol! So... mostly I hang back and slap ships from range during the early moments of battles and it's actually good at doing that plus I'm actually ok at landing long range shots. It doesn't have much AA, nor hydro and the citadels are not too hard to hit either. It turns slow, the turrets also turn slow so it's just not worth trying to be a German BB at the start of a battle and with it's overmatch and accuracy, it really doesn't need to be. Like I said, anytime I try and be daring and push up a flank I've pretty much always regretted it. As the battle breaks up, and depending on how it goes, then can be more daring and what's been a common theme is how the large bulk of the dealt damage comes at the latter stages of a battle where 80k dmg can very quickly become 150 or 200k dmg as cruisers and BB from the enemy get a bit loose and reckless as they either retreat in chaos or hard charge looking to mop up the remaining ships on my team depending on if we're winning or losing, gifting me a nice big broadside. 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Had Missouri for about 4 years or something but haven't played it in about 2 years because I thought it was totally crap and even tho it printed credits, I thought I never really got a good game in it except for one that made it on Mingles with Jingles. But when they said we were getting a new mission to save the old credit effect I tried it again just to try out the mission and I haven't really gotten any bad games in her at all, so wtf?! Did they buff her in some way? Its not really Youtube worthy games but its still pretty good that resulted in 1-2 Million credits games (with boosters). Maybe its just the new MM meta where you are top tier a lot in a T9 ship?!
