Played both WT and WoWS today; 4/6 stages with dockyard mission 2; only the 2 token ones remaining

 

I played WT yesterday as well, spaded the Re.2001 but that thing was super frustrating. 

Today i played the LaGG-3 Series 11: i had quite some fun in it

go figure 

 

my second game in it on one of my favorite maps in the game: Bourbon Island

nice 2 point landing and my teammate yak-1 stops with a 180 in front of me

 

now, the last battle, i wasn't even trying on winning in (not like it would have made much difference), i just needed a bit of RP to finish researching the rockets, so i just went ground pounding... still almost carried that game: baited a P-66 into my Airfield AA while i was coming back to repair after being damaged by AA, then i get 2 more guys, a 3rd one crashes; if our tickets haven't got obliterated and i had more time, i probably won it; but i don't care still FUN

I found this hilarious so I have to share it. 

 

Prelude: Me and enemy DD in cap, he smokes up and i fire torps at the smoke. He gets snagged by a millimeter on the rear and loses 95% hp. He calls me something rather bad, I just say noobs get torped in smoke. I get some raging pm and just point out he should do less coop...

Yes I consider it an achievement to get so much text from firing the most obvious and mandatory torpedospam

got 1 daily resource container, then i played WT: took out the Yak-4 today.

 

this thing is really fun: sniping columns from... around 4.000m; getting some bombers while at it (only issue is that you only have 1 ShKAS). 

Carried the first game (still stock), second one was also fun.  After that it was spaded and i got the Arkhangelsky Ar-2

P.S. Designer Alexander Arkhangelsky is the same designer of the SB-2 bomber, working at Andrei Tupolev's OKB; the Ar-2 was a dive bomber development of the SB-2 (which he designed while Tupolev was in the internal prison), unfortunately the layout had exhausted its potential and it still had some of the problems of the SB-2, namely a too slim fuselage in which crews could barely move; finally named after Arkhangelsky as from around 1940 it was decided that aircrafts should be named with the names of their designers (instead of what aircraft type it was: fighter, bomber, exc.).

A game that went to the wire... my final two kills Konig and then the CV tipped the balance... CV went down game was over...

Despite the usual WG inspired plebs and constantly being bottom tier; getting confed and 4 kills (Kraken was stolen). In a Surrey.

 

I would really like to congratulate WG on their ineptitude to properly manage and organise the game.

Report that to WG because as far as I am aware that is the kind of comment that gets you sanctioned.

Please, in cases like that, report this to Customer Support, this screenshot will be enough. Only Customer Support can take closer look on that to apply some sanctions against such players.

It's only good against some certain words like r*tard it gets you banned for 24 hours jest after the battle. But if someone is smart to avoid being filtered by algorithm then you have to send the ticket. Or if he is provocative without using actual insults then the algorithm also fails.

Question about this one: 

 

...since my clan is having an achievement award for the div with the most fires in a game. 

So yes that is all bombs and rockets (12 minutes... 30 fires possible...). 

 

It is up to T8 (so no Smolly... no Friesland... no Conqkek...) what would you guys say we'd take in div?

I think Ark Royal (for the spotting) and then maybe 2x DD. Should be able to get 100 fires with such a div.

Implacable/Ckalov comes to mind as well. Or faildivision Ark + 2x Flint... 

 

Suggestions?

Back from a couple of sabbatical months game-wise (well, technically three, but I played a few battles before patch 0.10.9 arrived and acquired D7P in the nick of time), and excluding some frantical weekend gameplay, both in randoms loaded to the brim with camos and flags and coop, in order to get Novorossiysk, today could be considered my official day of return. And quite the day it's been.

 

First of all, my very first kill using depth charges in an otherwise pretty mediocre match, yet I still don't understand how on earth I ended up third with 1.9k BXP:

 

Secondly, a nail-biting race against the clock for the team to block caps and sink one enemy ship without dying in return. In the end both objectives were achieved:

Lastly, Shimakaze got her 4th >3k BXP game, although it's a really dull one (still, link to the replay in the spoiler) due to the reds shepherding themselves to the slaughterhouse:

After that it went all downhill, as if I had spent my allotted luck, and losing a battle against @MacArthur92 because the team insisted in winning harder made me call the day.
