So enemies get 3 BCs (2x Alaska and Azuma) we get 3 standard Cruiser (Seattle, St Louis and Ibuki) which is... yeah, not that fun basicly. So i knew, i have to get a good opening salvo on hopefully one of the Alaskas Worked. Alaska died, but that didnt stop my teammates from just being really stupid. Ibuki kept showing perma broadside and died. Bismarck started bowtanking and got farmed. Öland gets A cap, then gets rushed Tirpitz and dies. Still won Luckily the Kagero decided to yolo into me, so i managed to kill him before his torps reached me. But even then, with the last 3 enemies basicly being out of the game in the corner south of A, my team desperately wanted to die. The NC, who was sailing mindless around the entire game thought, its smart to go flat broadside to 2 BBs and got smacked for 40k at 985 points. Bismarck couldnt aim, thats why he actually survived. And just prior to that, our St Louis with like 85% HP left got chunked down to 1700 because stop shooting? Whaddaissadad?? 7 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Surrey is actually the tankier from the two Much smaller, well protected citadel with 102mm armor pretty much all around it. I barely remember getting cit in that thing. Meanwhile Albemarle has a huge, stepped citadel. I was legit shocked how many times the Bayern didn't cit me in that match. Albemarle was the first where id say, it kinda works. I hated the ones before them. I felt annoyed playing them in OPs, so i just freeXPed them. Surrey was hot garbage in Narai. Even grinded Albemarle in Clanbrawls and i was surprised how well that works. One time we played some other Unicum clan, and in discord others were joking "DFens is playing torpedo Albemarle", was hilarious (torped both BBs btw). Drake feels kinda decent actually, played a few randoms. Played 11 battles today. Six in russian ships. All were won, even I played abysmal in some of those battles.... Played five battles in other nations ships and only managed to win three of them, and I had to play at least slightly better than average to achieve that... So proof!!! Russian Bias at work!!! Slightly serious though: I managed to win a Ranger battle while doing more than 100k damage (106k in fact...) which rarely happens to me usually. I mean, on the rare occasions when I manage to break that 100k barrier, I usually get rewarded with the brain-dead team that manages to throw the game faster than I can sink ships or/and do damage... This time the battle (T7 battle btw) ran the full 20 minutes. The lead changed a couple times. About five minutes before the end my poor little Ranger was slowly sunk by the surviving two enemy ships (two BBs). A minute later the enemy CV was blapped by one of the two surviving ships (BBs) of "my" team, putting the enemy team behind about 50 points or so. To win the battle, they had to enter out cap (Standard battle) which brought them before the guns of a 30% (or so) Cavour. Which needed three salvos to sink the enemy BB... which luckily had HE loaded for it's first return salvo... sooo enemy BB goes BOOM... 10 seconds later the battle ends.. cheering and a wild clapping of hands everywhere... Yeah, I did my part. 106k damage, 2 enemy ships sunk, enemy BBs harassed when the wanted to cap, so they decided to rather leave the cap and go after that CV annoying them... 4.6k PR as the reward... I had more fun playing my Gnevny though, even I got thrown into a T8 battle - but sans CV luckily - in which I even managed to outspot (!!!) some US DD and was able to use an island to make a nice torpedo run against an enemy Nagato... even got me a Devstrike Award for that one... it was my only sinker though, but 51k damage and 3.5k PR in this win... Another funny battle came in my Comte de Cavour has high tier BB (among others) on Strait Standard Battle, in which I frustrated an enemy Minkaze by blapping it from about 5km about 2 seconds before it could have been able to fire some torps at me - which would probably sunk me, due to previous damage - only to face an FurryTaco on the other side of my ship a load delay later, and managing to blap it before was able to turn enough to launch the second torp spread, after the first had missed me, due to me being a sneaky basterd who uses the wasd hack.. Didn't help against a BB that managed to sink me a bit later, but still I got away with a win, 2 sinkers, 33k damage and 1.9k PR. Finding a bunch of guys in random that were there FOR THE FUN and having a TON of fun with them, even with no divisions nor previous contact. We just hit start immediatly after battle's end, we kept being in same battle (late night it gets like that) and we kept chatting/trolling each other while enjoying some nice fun matches. Killing each other in the worst possible way? Yes. Avoiding YoloEmilio and his overwhelming need of close contact cuddles? Yes. Trying to convince our dd to ram enemy CV during endgame and offering karma rewards? Yes. Blaming enemy team for scratching our ships thus raising our insurance cost? Yes. Preaching a neoluddismish religion against Smolensks? Yes yes yes! Best series of random games since a long long time. First i thought i could have fun with secondary Pommern... which didnt really work at all, because DDs decided who wins. So i switched to DDs, which was pretty easy going. I just killed enemy DDs, got some caps and then it was basicly won. Ended up at R3 with 12 wins, and wasnt sure if i want to go R1. So yesterday played 1 Georgia to see how it does. Was a win. Today i thought, well lets see what happens again, won first one, so i kept going. Needed 4 stars, got 4 wins with Georgia, so R1 i was.
