Starting at Bronze 6, a victory followed by a streak of losses (two stars saved IIRC) so I fell to rank 8, then I switched the order of mounting cammouflage and flags and a winning strike to rank 4 ensued. Spoiler ...and this: Spoiler Apart from that, I've seen suicidal CVs, a Kitakaze going AFK because he couldn't spot me in spite of having me radiolocated, BBs running away from a cap while outnumbering the reds and no DD in its vicinity, and an Ochakov sailing past the smoke I laid for him (and he had no excuse since I told him in advance and answered favourably) while giving broadside to a couple of battleships, a supercruiser and a high RoF destroyer. I shot 11 ships, hit 10, rush-killed 2 dd's with sppeedboost activated and dodged 3 of their torpedo salvos fired directly at me from around 4km range out of their 2 smoke bubbles (got 3 kills total, 3 more literally stolen with the last 2 shells). BOTH my Yamatos hid behind me all the time, letting me push and tank the enemy fire. I got ZERO karma as a reward. I got killscammed 3 times by my camping Yamatos far behind me and a 4th time by our points reaching 1000 5 seconds before i could make the killshot on the last surviving Ibuki of their team, had to tank for my top tier BB's from start to finish. The 2nd co-op match was one of those bot heavy ones, just me and a Bayern. So much opportunity for damage farming ... if you don't get focussed down. Back to the tedious task of grinding steel in ranked, as I still lack a few steel ships: Shikishima, FDR, Bourgogne, Stalingrad, Plymouth. There's also the upcoming Austin... "my" "team" started on the southern side of the map. At first three ships - BB, Cruiser and a DD - went east to go to the channel there. I checked the middle part of the map looking for a DD, found the Anshan and took it out - "First Blood" award. Then I went to support the ships below the channel, as they failed to advance against the enemy Fubuki and an Omaha there. As soon as attacked the enemies, all three allied ships suddenly ran to the middle of the map. The rest of team was busy camping the western map edge... So in the end I was left on my own to stop the Fubuki and Omaha break through, which, due to my low CV skill, took me a while - kills 2 (Fubuki rocketed in oblivion) and 3 (Omaha, which took a bit, as he was quite actively dodging bombs and torps). After that, half of my team was already sunk, while talking out only three enemy ships themselves. I set course to the eastern channel, which was free of enemy ships and started to go for the surviving enemy ships, taking out the Dunkerque next - which had sunk our Vasteräs, that thought it wise to be visible to the Dunque. That also was the moment, when I saw the "you are the last hope..." message. I managed to sink the Bayern, then had the enemy Queen Elisabeth in my aim for some attacks.. At that time I already had gone through the channel, close to the northern map edge - and got shelled by the Queen E and the surviving Omaha... but managed to do a bit more damage without getting sunk myself until 2 seconds before the time ran out.. then Boom! PotatoAlert told me, that the average winrate of my "team" was 46.7%, while the opposing team had a solid 50.6% Talk about balanced teams, ey? I am trying to have the courage and play her in randoms but I am not sure yet. I upload the replay in the server to store this result, and what is my surprise, that the screenshot produced in that portal of the same battle is It must be some bug in the server of replays files, because, the version detected in the file is 0.10.0 while the version I am using is 0.10.1. The battle performance calculated is lower than the value I got in my original shot. All other figures seem the same. Now, how annoying is it when you've just set a new personal best of 284k damage and that happens? I always run Juliet Charlie, especially when playing Ranked. Just before this battle I took X-ray Papa Unaone (15% smoke layer) and didn't notice it took off my JC. *edit: To clarify my team lost both DDs to detonations. Yesterday, we managed to defeat the very OM in clanbattles! Match was great and boy they gave us a fight.
