Furious, win, 36k (lots of T8s there and I'm too potato to heavy damage against them... lost only 29 planes total though... so probably just playing not aggressive enough... but idc) and 1 DD sunk... Now to the real battles: Got in a battle in my Normandie, in which only did 37k damage, but 3 sinkers, as some DDs thought themselves immune against BB HE... and an enemy BB that thought that showing it's broadside after I switched to AP was a good idea... we also did win the battle... In the end I won 6 out of 7 today, most in a less than glorious manner, but a win is a win is a win... I didn't notice much "DeadEye" going around me. It's also the closest I've ever been to getting a Solo Warrior in ranked and among the handful of times a CV has sunk me with secondaries: Spoiler Due to the "excitement" from receiving you-know-what, I forgot about this other battle from yesterday. The red Småland even openly complimented me in chat in spite of making his game quite miserable, which had earned him the incomprehension of his team. I guess Småland has such a reputation of strong ship that she's become some kind of all-powerful entity in the mind of some people. Truth be told, at a certain point I tunnel-visioned and was tempted to keep the pressure on him, but our Z-52 reminded me that the real battle for victory was fought elsewhere: Spoiler Salute. 5 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
