Okay, seriously... good job After my first battle today I felt how Trump probably felt when the results from Georgia (the US one...) came on on election day (or a bit later...) except I won't make such a fuss about it: The Daily CV Challenge.... featuring The Ranger... as usually it was a T8 battle.. and still I managed to managed a nice bit of damage (79k) and took out some already heavily damaged ships (3 (three)) to help my team. I also managed a nice 3.6k WoWs S&N PR... in a loss... as my team's ships suicided so fast, that it probably would have needed a much better player than me to carry this shipload of potatoes... *sigh* After that I just concentrated on getting the "get 4.000.000 credits" and "get 20.000.000 damage dodged in a Cruiser" Missions done... which worked out nicely. Of course it was the usual mixture of deserved/undeserved win/losses with unicorn/potatoish gameplay by me/my teammates... Still, more battles won than lost (8W/7L) with some nice results among them Win is my Anshan, with 87k damage, no sinkers (all them kills stolen, goddamnit) and a 4.3k PR (due to taking two or three caps and defending and shiiieet) Win in the Raimondo's Cuckoo (54k damage, 1 sinker, 3.2k PR - just doing Cruiser things...) for it helps to know how to play a glasscannon... Win in my Krispy Kreme in the day's last battle... in which I faced another Krispy (gave the usual +1 Karma) and survived until the end (unlike the other KK, which was downed after about 5 minutes into the battle.. not by me though ) to gather 78k damage done (nothing better to stick some torps into a straightsailing BB and know how to manage fires... on your targets...), no sinkers (again, killstealers everywhere...) but still a 3.5k PR... in a T7 battle... Too bad the battle ended with me getting some shots on the enemy Ranger - which sunk by someone else ofc - and shortly before the last enemy BB could get sunk - even though I alredy set it burning... Was really the most fun battle of the day, from how the battle ran to all the joking in the chat... having one of this battles makes good for quite a lot of those "uncarryable potatoes" battles... 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Out of 4 our ships there 3 died almost immediately (including 2 BBs)... Luckily the "Benson" was great and "Kutuzov" also helped a lot and they both gave me superb support... so I turned this around... with Kraken... with 2721 BaseXP... in Ranked... Had the battle below, and note that I was in a ship with 76,300 HP, and ended up taking 115,500 damage.... so I by no means play extremely defensive. At that distance Bama's secondaries would not open up by a couple of hundreds meters, if i'm not mistaken they are 2 secs slower on the reload, but they are the same. First dispatched the Maass with hydro running just in case it left any presents in its smoke screen. Then did a drive-by on the two Tallinns in a narrow channel hitting one with a pair of torps. Carried on before their torps reloaded or they hit my broadside with AP. The FdG & KGV were slow in the next channel, so hit the FdG with torps, secondaries also set a couple of long running fires. Then fired AP into the KGV's broadside and kept going as the ship was taking quite a bit of damage by now. After clearing the channel, fired some parting torps and then ducked behind an island to hide from those two BBs, but then came into line of sight of the Lyon. Kited away firing HE at the bow on French BB and set 4 fires which did most of the damage. Kind of surprised about the 66k of fire damage in total. 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
