Was holding a flank at first, to prevent getting circled by some DDs and cruisers. Sadly our team had already been outpositioned by then for points (lost center). Managed to ward of the two BBs that broke through on the other side and kill the cruiser in mid with the help of the Visby who took out most of the Bretagne's hp. Very quickly we held all the caps but were 8 ships against 12. Enemy grabbed two caps, we were 5 ships against 9 but still ahead on points. Our CV (I think) finished off the heavily damaged Minsk, someone sank the Soyuz, and I managed to ambush the Tirpitz round an island and take back the B cap. I got blapped by the Nelson and finished off by their Yorck, but my last spread of torps finished off their Cleveland and brought the Nelson below 2k (how I wished for a Just-A-Flesh-Wound Double Strike...), allowing our Drake or maybe Surrey to sink him. We won a couple of ticks later. A complete nail-biter. First salvo of torpedoes off the bat and Pomern enjoys some Torpedo foreplay as does Yoshino... Within seconds of the strike Pomern is then ripped apart by the CV for his last 4k hp but the Yoshino manages to escape with 2k hp fleeing NW... Next reload, Mashum strike number 2, whilst keeping everything spotted Bismarck chews a Mashum Sandwich and pops for 77k... Amazingly the enemy CV then draws to the cap with Yoshino and the CV eats all but 2 torpedoes of a full strike and Yoshino just slows down enough to deny me a double strike... At that point I am still alone on the Western flank, still holding my own, but a careless mistake means I am detected by the enemy Shimakaze whilst hunting the Yoshino for an easy kill... I was unable to escape the full salvo from Shimakaze as well as the torpedoes from Yoshino.... so Mashum dies.
