My team started terrible, on my side of the map Donskoi decided to commit spectacular suicide overextending (I sense a DD guy in CA ;)), and support by 3 BBs was nonexistant, they ignored my pleas to shoot DD or concentrate fire and succumbed one by one, I couldn't hep much as Riga kept me in check with radar. Eventually got out of danger zone and hunted Ostergotland that was pestering our BBs and tried to take a cap from us. Thankfully on the other wing Georgia, FDG and Alaska carried the game against odds. At the end I managed to finish Siegfried that had a really good game and was taking caps from us, me and Z controlled situation spamming torps on FDG and Riga until time run out. I speedboost into his smoke, my team spams *GET BACK* - Smolensk didn't have his hydro up so I torpedo him inside his own smoke at point-blank range. I then use his smoke to safely get the cap while I HE spam his team. The thing with these overpowered ships is people stop trying when they're in one. Same with Kremlins "I can't die, I'm literally immune to damage, let me just 1v9 this flank" I think OP ships are in fact balanced by the people driving them. [NECRO] Deckeru_Maiku Beta Tester 6,636 posts 24,864 battles Report post #14622 Posted August 3, 2020 Greatest gaming achievement for me today: Shooting down 44 Rhein airplanes - only four of them fighters! - with my Yubari... and for once the two enemy CVs didn't manage to sink me... I even managed to take down one of those Rheins... did 45k damage total, sank two other ships.. capped a cap... and lost the battle... ^v^ And I did some nice sealclubbing education for not so quite seal-ish players in my Isokaze. One of those splendid 2 CV, 4 other human controlled ships and six bots battles... I managed a cap, sank a human controlled DD and Leander and one of the CVs... doing 45k damage and not once used my AA against them planes that didn't manage to do too much harm. KM CVs are really enjoyable when one rides a DD... and knows how to dodge torps... And the battle was even won... just too early, cause I was on the way to sink the second Rhein, too, when the points reached 1000... 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
[YEET] COPlUM Players 3,009 posts 12,083 battles Report post #14623 Posted August 4, 2020 Played North Carolina for the first time in forever, won a brawl I shouldn't have because the old girl was underestimated. - Spawned, used spotter plane, got double citadel (?) on a hipper sailing in a straight line 25km away - Was feeling it so pushed around an island into a flank against a Tirpitz, a Massa and a destroyer - The DD missed his first wave of torps - I was well angled against the Tirpitz about 5km away - The massa was right behind the Tirpitz and was giving me flat broadside, probably figured I wouldn't switch targets - Blapped the Massa, kept my angle against the Tirpitz, which kept shooting HE & not angling for some reason, killed him too - Got out with 2K HP and ate a torpedo, I never felt so good about dying or eating a torpedo Feels good knowing old tech tree ships got the love they deserve to remain relevant. 1 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I did a final rush in Nagato to get to Amagi, and in one of the battles (a defeat) I got an AA Defense Expert from the red CV. I suppose he thought "challenge accepted" after me taunting in open chat "Weser gegen Weser, welcher ist besser?" (Weser vs. Weser, which one is better?), because he kept sending wave after wave against me, resetting my capture although in the end he could neither prevent it nor kill me. Once reached Amagi, by the third battle I managed to be top of my winning team (TX match in Ocean with CVs, just to make things more interesting) and by the fourth I finally ended surviving.
