Moved through the middle into red cap and took it without any opposition... Only Texas was inside when I approached, but after my torpedoes narrowly missed him he retreated in a hurry. Shame that my snowflake team thought its best not to cap zones and let enemy win. Radars were activating one by one. At some point I was detected by 2 radars at once. Oh well. The rest was just too easy. And a 6:30 High Calibre. Anyone who says CV's and in particular Enterprise isn't OP needs to give their head a wobble. Ok, it's only sprint and it took me 47 battles, mostly because I wasn't taking it seriously until the end but I'm still chuffed. I've never bothered with ranked in the past and this time I was playing my tier 8 grinding ships in stock build, focused more on the dockyard missions than ranking but when I hit rank 3.2 I realised I could make it. Got to 2.2 what felt like many, many times, saved my star enough times to forgo the dockyard, take out my Mainz and finally grabbed the last star in a comeback battle that was so close, our experienced player had written off our chances after I refused to give broadside to two enemy cruisers in order to move into the third cap. Special thanks to the two enemy DDs that appeared to have thought the battle was done and dusted, sitting quietly in B cap only to suddenly see a Mainz appear from behind an island, pinging away with German hydro while they were both apparently reloading their torps. The most hated ship for me, blapping in 1 salvo, in first 2 minutes of battle. I can't describe you how much I hate this trash ship. I died to the enemy Lady Lex, but honestly, when you are againt a carrier, you are just delaying the inevitable.
