First match in the Furutaka continued my streak of getting matched as bottom tier into a tier VII/VI match (seriously, I think I've only had a single game int hat ship where I wasn't bottom tier!), though I still managed to break the 1k XP mark. Then a match in my Kongou, largely uneventful except for the mandatory longrange citadel hit on a Nürnberg. Third match of the day went to the New York, top tier on Big Race map (perfect map for shotgun types like the new York), again largely uneventful, 1.2k XP. But then I said "screw it, one more game in my beloved Kongou" ... BOOM one of the best games I had in a while when it comes to raw XP earned. 2k XP (all base because the FWotD was already done), 115k damage, 215k credits (199k after repair/resupply). Sadly the Kraken was denied just a split second before I could get my fifth kill, that would've been the icing on the cake. I love this ship!!! I even managed to get top of my team on every match but one. The one where I wasn't top of the team I detonated on the first hit taken. You should take Gremlin out for a spin lot more often. My second 8 kill match... Also have another fair 2400 XP, 4 kill Confederate+High Caliber (146k damage) match for evening in which enemy threw away their point advantage. Even in my worst match today I still managed 97K damage.Here is the most enjoyable one, with 165K damage, plenty of citadel hits and a brawl with an enemy Amagi at the end while the enemy Taiho tried its best to sink me.Also managed a Devastating Strike on an enemy DD using AP ammunition. Waited until he turned his ship towards me in order for my AP shells to travel the entire length of his ship and cause full penetration damage. I screwed up badly yesterday... thought a shima had fired a torp wall at me so hid behind an island... but he just used the island to get within 2km of me. I hit him with 6 shells i think and my secondaries took the rest of his health before his torps covered the 2km.
