Phew, Halsey's campaing completed in full. I don't know why I was so convinced that Confederate required only 5 ships when it has to be 6, but it's finally over:

Now the only task remaining from all the campaigns is Yamamoto's 2.1 (five times top XP earner of your team in TX CVs). As if I could do that after the rework...

 

Although not from today, it feels good being a plane magnet sometimes even when she's not AA specced unlike other ships. It looked like a lost battle from a couple of minutes after I died till the very end, but fortunately certain leisure-sailing borderhugger redeemed himself with a ram that let our Zao stay alive and with not enough time left for the reds to reach and contest a cap:

Improvd my best with Ark ROyal, still haven't broken the 100K barrier. 

But regular 70-80K now so must be learning something (mainly w how to hit all 3 torps).

And yes that's a T8 game.

After playing Ark Royal for a few days and inspired by OP AL Formidable release, I decided to go and continue a CV grind and get the Implacable, because why play peak performance if you can just be peak annoyance...

 

Not exactly the greatest achievement ever, but I take it. Very balanced.

I just had my best T8-9-10 game in my Roma. Top player, 156k damage, 3 kills, avoided all torps from 4 dds and pushed my flank, got citadels on Vladivostoks too.

 

Then lost 4 battles on the Piotr Whatever its name :(

Kraken with less than 40k damage @t9. :p That ship is fast enough to rush in and secure the kills. :D

Finally hit 600 karma (been sat on 599 for ages) and all it took was getting two caps in a Saipan :)

 

Low damage game but spent most of it chasing DDs around.

 

Sadly I think one of the enemy team reported me so I was on 600 for approximately 30 seconds. Ah well.

This was on Sunday for the collect some cash with Germany directive. My first "Bizi" Kraken.

Today was a nice day. First match (ranked) with Bismarck. I contested the center capture point squaring off against a Vladivostok and tanking a lot of damage for my team while dodging torpedoes and aircraft. Battle was very 50/50 at that point due to the enemy still having an alive destroyer while ours were dead. From 20 kilometers range I managed to knockout the (by that time very damaged) destroyer by staggering my shots which was pretty amazing considering Bismarck gun accuracy. After that I steamed straight for their Shōkaku carrier and sank it which was so satisfying. 52k damage and 2 kills, which is okey but not amazing or anything, but the match was tons of fun and I felt I contributed significantly.

Next ranked match in my own Shōkaku was a cakewalk, we won and I sank 3 ships.

Third match (not ranked) in my new Maas destroyer I sank a Monarch and a Lyon from 100-0 basically, and very nearly the Implacable carrier (match ended). A nice 90k damage and a good start for my new destroyer. I
