What Were Your Greatest Gaming Achievements Today ?

With a T61 for company we held off a Bismack, Izmail, KII, Prinz Eugen and Fushun who tried repeatedly to get to our base to cap....

 

I accounted for the Fushun myself with guns after T61 ran him to me and once my torps had done their work the T61 accounted for Bismarck and KII... Izamil flooded to 8k and was zapped by allied Bismarck and the Prinz succumbed to allied Baltimore... we kept them contained and between us perma spotted... they really did not have a chance.

A decent damage tally for me...

Roughly a week ago the mate I did sprint with ranked out and thus I wasnt able to do the sprint with him together anymore.

 

For that week I have been unable to try once alone - even just one little game of 10-15 minutes, because of the things you see in ranked .......

 

Today with roughly 2 hrs to go (at least that what it says) I find the strength to play 1 battle of sprint solo. 11 k coal - not to shabby for one game.

 

 

Really went the extra length and tried to steer and help them in chat as much as possible.  Took off 1/2 of the DD, 2 x 1/2 of BB and killed a full cruiser.

 

When I saw the lineup I was CONVINCED this was a doomed endeavour: We had Shira, they had Z39. We had Helena they had Nuevo the P2w. We had 3 German BBs, they had 2. Even more surprising than the win against this lineup was the fact I got actually complimented even tough I didnt even flame then in chat.

 

..... oh wait, I did tell the Gneisenau twice that the enemy is north while hr sailed in the backline to A while the game was in balance, and then that going behind the island into A renders him useless and removes him from the battle. (He never got that cap, naturally) That does qualify as flaming already? Else I got nothing ........

 

 

Time to put the bravery of actually dealing with PVP in this game back into the closet ....... if I can find a space.

Basicly killed the JB solo in the end, as it was backline camping... He even tried to be smart and bait me with shooting HE, then switch to AP. Bounced it

Basicly died because our NM chickened from a 5k HP Richelieu... and rather camped the island. So i could get crossfires by the last 3 remaining BBs. When you think that they would even do the most basic task, because they killsteal at every opportunity anyway

Couldnt agree more. I think 2 out of the 17 games I played so far you could call 2 teams actually fighting for the win. The others... decided almost from the get go.

Oh man, not again.

was what I thought in the beginning when my team just quit one of the flanks and started a lemming parade.

- leaving one flank unprotected it's a bad idea, I said, but with no effect.

Filled with resignation I left my post and went with it.

Then it got worse, they stopped in the middle of the map.

this will be extra quick I thought.

- spread out, or we will be in a crossfire!, but again, nothing.

Initial this would  be a battle to post in the sad situation topics.

I was heading to a flank where the reds had two Bismarck , two Tirpitz, a Graf Spee, a dd.

Apart from a dd I was the most forward ship in the line.

But things went our way, we did a defensive ring around our cap, and the other team  was worse than us.

And I got to Brawl against the Big Boys.

Well that  would be, sunk by a single shot form a DDs main gun to my bow railing, a complete destruction by a destroyers main gun, this happens alot, just like detonation even with the flag mounted, and 40000hp so i guess this is quite an acievement. within itself.

And what a great boat it is! If there were a premium version of it, I'd seriously consider it

Tbf, I have not been as lucky since yesterday with CM but it has a lot to do with the weekends I presume. Even with Benham, 23k damage, 1 cap and 1 torp hit, loss and still frist place, wth?  But still my stats will be poop.

 

But anyway, CM is a great little ship with the Halloween camo! And for some reason the guns now sound AAWWEEEESSSOOOOMMEEEEEE!!!!! 

For anyone who has CM and the halloween camo (the one that looks like a zombie or piramid-something), I can highly recommend you enter a quick game and fire your guns. Just listen, you will make Yamato cry

Yes it's possible! Both DDs on my flank that I was trying to support, detonate at timestamp 17:35 and at 17:16, literally within 20 seconds of each other

Received a Twitch care package on yesterdays Quickybaby stream for WoT, containing all sorts of goodies and a female unique commander. YAY! 

 

Ranked out on the PTS ( not really an Achievement) despite my team mates doing their utmost to throw the games. 

In one game they were all afk and me alone against the enemy team. Kiting wins games tho. :D 

Makes me wish that all ranks on the live server were safe, ranked would be sooooo much more fun, ^^

 

Finished the mission on the PTS that gives rewards on the live server.

 

Received two achievments in OPS which i never seen before, 'Save Commander Jenkins' and 'Shark among Shrimps'. 

Now i wanna the rest of them. 

 

Unlocked SmOPlensk, and am in the process of training a captain specifically for this ship. 

 

Reached TVIII on my RB grind in all the reset lines, and thanks to @Jack_WreckM and @G01ngToxicCommand0 i'm just a couple of thousand XP away from the TIX French CA. 

 

And now for the best part: 

I send out clan invites based on how People Play in a game. 

Even if it turns out their stats are . 

 

So, a BB Player who shall remain unnamed received an invite for actually tanking. 

I checked his stats and while he does terrible stats (2k battles, 34%WR, 21k average Damage), he seemed to try to be useful. 

 

He turned my offer down tho, saying he doesn't want to join a shitty clan when there's competitive unicum clans around. 

And he didn't take the position he was in because he wanted to be there, but because his engine and ruddder where damaged after torp hits and he grounded on the Island unable to repair for a while. 

Also, only noobs play their BBs in the front.  

 

This made my day and i wish him the best luck becoming a member of OMNI, RAIN, TTT or other unicum clans. 

I'm pretty sure they're lining up to get him asap.
