The point is: Getting crucial contribution in a 4 killstealer division. Hatsu confirmed hardest carry boat (was good enough for 1st place) Fuso, visceral Queen of Bot-Clubbing! My good deeds at work and karma ( ) made even PEF treating me right ..... within its limitations ofc. 12 cits aint bad. However when Fuso is your waifu ..... wait for it: Those game were in divsion! (However someone else wronged his karma and didnt repent his crimes enough) (or was it the lack of me complaining about PEF/the game? ) Anyway I promised you folks some pvp. Yesterday I was really tired, just to give you some idea: Took a shower and didnt rinse/clean the bathtub afterwards (cleaning fun for the weekend now) because I was too tired and forgot. I also made coffee and when using the grinder I forgot to put the small plastic box there that collects the coffee powder (yay more cleaning!) because again, I was too damn tired. Ranked was really putting me off, I already saw the legions of potatoes, shitlords, parasites and saboteurs just waiting for me. However first things first, the teams werent THAT abysmally shít. Ofc there were potatoes but I actually hadnt the feeling it was a competition who can sabotage his team the most efficiently ..... Even the enemy put up a fight ....... (veteran division mates know I [edited] about and flame even the enemy team ) Naturally as a shitcruiser-main I know very well to not play a shitcruiser in ranked. However I dont have a T9 carry ship (aka DD) at all ..... damn. Also, if you have only 35 games in ranked sprint for the last 8 months to show in terms of pvp and if you cant aim for crap, you dont know your ship, you are tired and you want to watch PreenHub on the 2nd screen .... ..... then its time to get ready with the golden glove of left-hand fapping (Tenosynovitis is a real, and you need appropriate protection!) and "other equipment" (@aboomination ) because after all, which class can you play without your hand touching your WASD-keys for minutes ........ thats right: Musashi and Missouri - going full balanced p2w here. I was going to play Missouri for utility but I got stuck on Musashi - must be the mighty 5 games in co-op experience I got in her. Double citted their radar cruiser, then shat on another shitcruiser. I might have killed their DD; at least I did take shots, cant remember the effect tough. Generally I shot DDs whenever possible - like usual. With only the enemy backline fappers left and running it was a guaranteed win. I think its was this game tough, where in the end we had no DD left on our left flank and were in serious risk of getting flank torped to shíit. (our Donskoy had misplayed). Later on we had 3 BBs and 1 (damaged) DD against their sole DD. However the enemy had all 3 caps and we were loosing. So I asked our DD to spot, already pushing in as torp bait hard, to deny them at least 1 of the caps. Our second BB rightfully went for a 2nd cap. However the 3rd one tried to parasite the cap, even tough, as I told him, he was to slow to do so and just removed his guns in the crucial situation when we needed them most: when the enemy DD id spotted. Because after all, loosing our DD and "potentially" me to torps would be a sure way to loose the game. But parasiting, hiding and sabotaging is important, you know. And for calling out his parasite behaviour I got ..........complimented. In fact I recently went 140 karma before starting to play ranked, and in those 5 games, the bitching netted me another 3 or 4 ADDITIONAL karma-points ( @Aotearas ) alone. #highqualitysalt 2 games in, the first loss: Our DD died; instead of grouping up 2nd got also cought in a 2 vs 1 DD because our 3rd didnt realise he had to group up to exactly avoid being picked off 1 by 1 like this, despite being told. Although I shot the DDs every chance I got, our team didnt do so and with our DDs gone ........ (actually saved the star there) Team actually listened and did a even split. I was on the side with the enemy main fleet. However team didnt suicide and we kited + forced the enemy into a crossfire where they got farmed without mercy. Not too much damage for me, but rendered most of their ships useless and allowed the others to farm them while having no issues to survive. That last game was the odd one: I whiffed a good amount of shots; then RNG also decided to give the enemy broadsiders impenetrable potato-armor. Several minutes and salvoes into the game I had 0 damage. However: Musashi outnumbered the enemy even solo and denied the enemy. When the enemy Buffalo-shitcruiser went for my DD, I took it VERY personally ..... However, now its Friday and I am scared. 5 games are sure as hell not enough to outrun the potatoes and its weekend. Go Musashi/Shimakaze and be done soon. German credits? Go full Tripitz Black... For Brit credits I took a mixture of Cossack, Nelson and Minotaur... easy peasy... USA credits were done by the Black and Sims, with a little Gearing inbetween. And the French credits came by John Brath and - as I also had to train a captain for the Ritchie-Lou - the Dunkirk. So.. one mission left to do. And I ain't got any of the french DDs needed to do one of THOSE missions. In the end I re-bought me a Gnevny and had a lot of fun going full russian in CoOp battles.... can't say how many damage I did or how many ships I sank... but I think I made at least an average of around 130k credits per battle, with the Union Jack Camo and the extra credit flag applied... Team composition screen goes up and I see a one DD per side one Radar ship per side and four BBs per team game. "Hmmmm....they have a Mogador." I said to myself. "I think I can handle this one...Its mine" I continued, to myself obviously. "I hope our Kronshtadt has good timing with his radar" I mumbled...to myself again. He did !! He popped it up the right moment. The Mogador (a fellow Greek, I 'm sorry but he was on the wrong team) gets spotted, and puts his speed to work to get out of radar range. Which he does. He got out of sight. But the noob in the Fletcher got a glimpse on him. And scratched mentally his head and said...(to myself don't forget) "I ll torp you compadre and you will sink cos I know what you are doing". He did !! As the battle went on and my team was on the east flank we lost A cap and our Bart has sunk. He valiantly denied to follow the lemming train behind me and tried to keep the reds off A. Pity, he was a good boy. We are now down in points but ahead on ships. So I turn to A and find a fine good looking Iowa in there. Nice big cannons. Sailing aft and ahead to confuse anyone that might lay eyes on her magnificence. Fierce and dominating she was and...I said (to myself and I know I have to have this thing looked at) "you will sink cos I need this star" She did !! I torped, flooded and burnt her. I took her for 80K Tadahh...I did Rank 9 and got my steel. I didn't come first. George Orwell with 1984 points came first compared to my WW II 1940 points. That Langley was AFK or not giving a Flying F. he did nothing at all. Probably he just parked it in the middle of the cap and that's it. BTW I know that Yue-Yang player. Shot 4 salvoes, all hit, all DCP'd... < 15k damage. Since then I went "F this sh!t" and load AP. HE and DoT? DUUUUHHHHH!!! I'm quite sure there are even shorter games possible. 5 minute games are quite regular IMO. Some end because my team or the other has ZERO POINTS. How? And a new record damage with the Kita. Spoiler And now my new book. Saving a Star Chapter #1 - When they all want to hide I was in the Fletcher. All of my team was hiding. I mean really avoiding battle. I tried to cap A and got jumped by two DDs. I had a knife fight with both. Torped both. and shot both. Wiggled like a working girl with a wooden leg. They each got one of my torps. If only they got two I d have a double strike. Anyway, I went to pay a visit to Davy Jones. My team continued to hide and at the end they tried to shoot at something they could not see. I was looking at the game and nothing red was on the map. Once a red popped up one green died. I didn't believe it. But I saved a star. with 24K damage !! That's an achievement. Spoiler Chapter #2 - When the noob prevails The game started well. We got two of the three caps. We hadn't lost a ship and we had taken their Jean Bart out. But...all the team had gathered around C and I had capped A and was asking for help. I knew I could hold the cap for a while but... Then, all of a sudden, our Missouri and our Z left C that was being pushed by enemy Z and a Soyuz to chase up to the end of the map a Kitakaze. Of course we lose our Yugumo to the Z, they push and I turn to help. I stop the Z once and the Yugumo once more. I torp the Soyuz. But, your friendly noob succumed under fire from the Z the Yugumo and the Saint Louis that had just joined the fun. I couldn't help myself. I exploded. I called (oh what shame on me) the Missouri and the Z bad players. My exact words. And told them they are the reason we lost. And the Missouri told me that we lost because I am a noob. Spoiler I thought that for the Missouri to be so mouthy and not to understand that he blundered he must be a total potato. I look up his stats and what do I see? Spoiler A UNICUM PLAYER - well last 150 battles. (oh my the player base must be....nahh I won't say it) We snatched defeat out of the jaws of victory. I was thinking about playing Kron or Alaska but the truth of the matter is: Why not just play Missouri? Lost the first and only (so far) star there. One of our DD ran into 2 of theirs + a cruiser. I knew he was dead in the long run, but maybe if he just could buy us time. One cruiser left tough to basically reinforce failure and remove his guns from both battles. The other cruiser pushed around a island into a FDG less than 8 km away after I specifically asked/warned him hot to; instead helping me deal with a Alaska that had full potato-armor and was going for our last DD. Cherry on top: Our DDs: 42 %, forgot/bad, 52?%. Their DDs: 55 %, 60 %, 65 %. (something along those line) Yeah ..... Next game was last Musashi game. Dispersion was kinda meh. Got FB on their Iowa after our JB lured him into a crossfire. Also citted their Mushi for a mighty 180 hp. Both teams DDs were kinda irrelevant and didnt even run into each other. Decided to for a few Missouri games: Longer reload but mobility wise I can just play her like a Kirov with working armour, guns, radar, heal; and only suffer a slightly longer ruddershift. Was pretty sure this would be the best game of today. Our DD disconnected, and I was telling him to fall back, but I could see that something was wrong. He came later back and apologized. While obviously not happy I dont feel any hostility towards him. No reason to use a report when there are the ones doing their premeditated sabotage. Anyway I also good a good 8k chunk into their DD and with shells landing at the same time we got their DD early. However, a usually by now won game was now open again. Taking the sound of the explosion of our Alaska going down I asserted the situation: Enemy had 2 caps, and they were sitting in B. Both sides had 2 BB and 1 CA left. I knew what to do, using the great mobility of this thing I did the mother of all flanks: Got the broadside of the Musashi although he was pulling back because his damn plane was going up just as I was moving in. Still was enough damage to allow the others farming from the north to get the killing blow. Speeding up even further I just roadkilled/deved their US-Shitcruiser. Not bothering with the cap, I was pursuing their last remaining RN BB with full 35 knts of spite towards the battleship players of this game. Last game, an oh this is so desperate. Despite being asked for only 1, both cruisers had to go A. At least the Alaska then (after a while) rejoined the fight normally. I shít you not, the Donskoy on the other hand was fapping unspotted, bow on, full hp between the island of A, using only 2 front turrets until there was nothing left but a Neptune on a few k hp. You can bet you áss this tard got reported. Before going down I actually radared the Neptune on few k taking the cap, but you would need to occasionally leave camp/fap site Alpha to have shots. I actually had to watch the replay to fully get what was going on: So while playing WoT around a corner, their cruiser pushed in for a torp run. I quickly double citted their Neptun for it. However Donskoy had potato armor for the entire game. So at that point we lost one our Mushis to torps. Further, and I still dont fully understand why after watching the replay, the other 2 BB pushed in. Not out of the torps way but then more, actually fully to the other side of the islands and into all their BBs and their cruisers. Ofc they did trade unfavourably. At that point it was 2:1 BB and since our Donskoy was fapping in A, 2:1 cruisers. As the sole remaining battlefuck I knew I had to push in, spot, tank and give the Alaska chances for side shots: And it worked; kinda. My plan was to originally to surprise the Izumo; but he was already angling. Feeling desperation and the need to get something decisive in, I was shooting the Donskoy, which again had full potato armor. However it forced him to dodge an angle against me, and the Alaska killed him. Meanwhile I had the hp to gamble with the broadside against the Izumo: His front turrets did 8k, manageable as I hoped. However he got his rearmost turrets also on target when I was far less angled and that one hurt. Meanwhile, splitting my fire, the back turret citted the Neptune and brought him low once more. I knew I was able/had to kill the Izumo but my shells landed right as the fapper in A scored some damage. On fire and going down I radared the Neptune on a few k, but camp site A doesnt have shots. Finally, with a 2:1 on his hand with only a badly damaged cruiser as opposition, the Donskoy decides to join the fight for the first time and, finally, its a win. You have no idea, how afraid I am every time I press battle in ranked; knowing full well there isnt a divsion mate to count upon and share the salt ....... ...... but yeah, Ranked "A skillbased Gamemode": 2 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
