I've shot down three (3) aircraft in 289 game with my Fujin. Played tonight and shot down two (2) in one game. "WTF!!? the planes must be weak if this kills them." was my first thought. First, both Iowas and the Azuma were not moving for a good 3+ minutes. Then they sat at >20km from all enemies. Leaving me and the Amagi mostly tanking (luckily, they also took shots against @ForlornSailor Fiji and other stuff). Oh but when the enemies started to get low HP.... then was the time for our toptier heroes to shine and grab those hard 5k HP kills Did i mention, they mostly sat behind islands aswell? People ask, how do you loose co-op? One of the explanation is playing co-op late at night and your bots trading unfavourably. Mine did ......... and I was in Mikasa - with absolutely NO secondary spec. I scored absolutely no damage in the opening minutes of the game because ..... best dispersion ever. So with like 3-4 km secondary range, even less effective grunrange and no speed, allied bots dead, there was only one way to go about this ... I went into the meele with several low tier DDs that have a torp reload like I do on the main battery ... Went and rammed the first DD flat on while trading shots on all side with the remaining 3 DDs and 2 cruisers and the other Mikasa. Dodged several torps by not letting them arm. Duked even more, to a point of not even spotting them (because having main battery on target isnt exactly a loss .....) Positioned myself carefully outside of their torp angles, even secondary angles (so they would hit the cruiser between us) while not getting torped to shít. I even tried to get them to torp each other but this thing is too slow. Another ram was out of question because I couldnt afford the health. I even did precision fire with the turrets (and their shitty angles) to set individually. And it is precision because below 3 km you can even hit with Mikasa. Dont believe me? I also liked them. I did better. Well, it is logical because I had a few games under my belt by then. I did rather well in the Scharnhorst. Then, I felt that I was a miserable potato in DD and challenged myself. You know the story.....LOL And I fell in love with Destroyers. And I became less of a potato. And I tease @Bear_Necessities every time he plays anything but DD (the proper ships). I don't have the Z and the Y from TX. But I play mid tiers with occasional visits to high. Some shells might or might not have hit the dd that kept sailing 5 km behind me, even when I cleared the cap of the red DD and chased the red radar away, while losing half my health.
