I dunno what it is with Prinz Eugen. It just gives me decent games. It isn't a good ship, but it's still better than Hipper. Careful, very weeb... (not joking) Spoiler Sadly our CV got assassinated by the two DDs, but balanced button on AA spec helped a lot. Then played Hipper and while most of the times the ship's just frustrating, I actually got some decent results for once. Basicly did the same sh*t with the shchors as i do with Hindi -> Slow down / speed up / wiggle all the time - they could barely hit me 9k damage received with 800k potential, and thats all HE except one AP salvo from Haguro (yes all BBs peppered HE at me aswell ) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Straight off the bat, as I cap A, Kagero goes yolo to B and dies by the Z-23... Nobody wants to nail the radar ships and everyone runs from A from a Grozovoi and Hindenburg.. Our NC, Grosse desert the Vanguard who gets slaughtered..Our Baltimore decides to show broadside to the enemy Missouri who does not waste the opportunity.. The A cap is taken and the BB's retreat to cower by C. With the points at 700-270 I go back for B, running into a torp from the Z-23, and take out the Z-23 with guns, Z-23 goes dark so my kill shot was estimated.. I get hit by the Hindenburg and Martel everyone ignored in A taking me down to 213hp.. I take back B driving off Missouri with Torpedoes and Mo retreats towards the Montana.. The enemy Grozovoi then comes to challenge from south of A, I am dark at that time, so I head for C leaving B undefended and I fire a salvo of torpedoes to the rear of Grozovoi count to 5 and fire a salvo from my main guns. I then smoke and fire again, the Grozovoi in his eagerness to retreat turns into my torpedoes and eats 2.. Our Hindenburg, our only Cruiser with brains, retakes the B cap stolen by the Grozovoi as I go for the Missouri and firing all 10 torpedoes just as the Missouri fires up his radar he eats 5 torpedoes. Meanwhile Hindenburg mops up the Charles Martel and Mogami as they leave A, probably camping thinking of their victory, and then retakes A.. Our Yamato is running from the Montana with 3k hp.. My 3 kills and the Hindenburgs 2 are enough to put us in front by 35 points with all caps now in our control.. So I close to 7km of Montana, the last ship and unleash my 10 torpedoes.. Literally as they are due to hit the clock is at zero.. Wish I had my bandicam running... Could have been a lot easier if our CV would have like spotted that low hp Grozo, or someone else would have shot him as well besides me. Well, no pain no gain I guess. Funny moment was when I got a torpkill on Benson who sat in smoke. Our Haru made a terrific job staying alive as long as he did Spoiler One of those weird games. I was supposed to die from almost full hp as I misplayed hard and let the Akatsuki come way too close. There I was, full broadside in front of the DD two km away trying to turn cursing my decision, but somehow he failed his torps and only landed 3 out of 9. Special award goes to our Maass who went around the map to hunt CV. (Okay, he did cut the corner from D1 to B6.) Learning to play Shimakaze I guess. Or caps are lava and objectives unnecessary for win-syndrome. Who knows. Ultimately KIA'd by the Taihou. Could have done more but after i saw the smokeclouds (Benson + Grozo), i had to turn out and ofc Missouri punished me for 25k or something like that In the 2nd match, i thought i would be dead several times, but half their team got stuck in B... starting to feed 1by1... Well, no pain no gain I guess. I was furious at that CV. Look the screen: he has 4 plane kills. FOUR. Must have been bombers killing something on the way. He did nothing. The enemy CV first focused on spotting me, then on the Haru, who played awesome (and was swearing at our CV aswell). Shot before the end, when we needed points because we were behind, our CV let the Grozovoi espace with 550 Health and when I desperatly tried to convince him to spot the Grozo (we had 3 ships shooting the DD) he said "lol learn to play, I did awesome). I watched that unfolding from 15 km away, despirately trying to hit the Aka. How the F*** could he missplay like that? He had full HP and you were alone. All he had to do, was drive his boat to your broadside and boom. Meanwhile I got rushed from Seattle and Kron in the center, they both were at 8~9 km to me, so I thought "well, Radar is coming....now...any second...wut?" nothing happend. Both then gave broadside and let themselfes get killed. I have no idea how the enemys threw that one. Spoiler Best round for me was actually the Benson-game. First I thought, its going to get hard fighting for the cap: Kagero on my side and the Indianapolis pushing. Luckily, the Kagero didnt ran Concealment Module (??!?) and killed himself instantly + the Indianapolis got baited & torped by me and then blabbed from @DFens_666 before he could deal any damage. Rushing the almost full HP Gneisenau was the icing on the cake. Should send that part as a short video to the Aka, that failed to torp you in the Missouri^^.
