[NECRO] Deckeru_Maiku Beta Tester 6,636 posts 24,864 battles Report post #9576 Posted December 16, 2018 Yesterday 99.24% - couple CoOps later it's 99.27% total CoOp winrate... and still boring.... ah, wait... there actually was a battle in which I really effed up early in my Sims, getting eliminated while taking out my bot-ish counterpart, that came to a close "two human BBs, one of which was obviously running a bot program* against one designated bot BB" finish. Luckily the "real" human player managed to sink the "real" bot, even though he hadm't played splendid before (nonetheless gathering three "mop up" kills). * signs why that guy must have used a bot program: sailed straight ahead to about the middle line of the map on the right flank, then stopped to shoot HE with his french BB at anything that got in range, without moving. Only when he was shot at by the last enemy ship he started moving again, still shooting HE. Didn't react in chat either... Doesn't matter in the end - missions got done, only ten more to go for the Greadnauhgt... In the Random Battle Depertment I had only time for three battles today, winning two... Lost in the Tachibana Lima... didn't do well against all those nasty sealclubbers ^^ Won in the Smith... nasty little torpedolobbing mothersinker... some people just can't handle single torpedoes been send in their general direction every couple seconds... ^^ Didn't manage a sinker, but 37k damage in a T2 ship isn't that bad I guess... And another win for the Krispy "My Armour Is Made From Stalinium To Withstand The Puny US BB AP Shells" Kreme. Had to do a lot of Dakka-dakka-dakka but finished off a Gremlin that got permaspotted by our CV (which it had intended to sink), while being shot at by a New York and a Danae, eating some hits, then burning down lots of the New York's hitpoints before the CV finished it off, then turning my interest to the Danae and sinking it and finally island-ambushing a König and torping it for the winning kill of the game... MM puts me in bottom tier in 2 brothers(very fitting XD) cause reasons. But there is a saying, “blessing in disguse”. enemy top tier bbs were the über Bismarcks(not spelling the darn name out) were average bb captains, with their team lemming onto my choice of flank(my brother often jokes that I’m a “lemming magnet”) the good news is that they got stuck there while I took the line wide and succeeded in terrorising and killing some of their cruisers. Soon noticed the team on my flank is dying, so we turned around, brother trades his ship with a Cleveland, with the killing blow dealt by me. game is looking carp at that point, I’m in a big slow battleship so there is no way I gonna get anywhere in time to make a difference, unless if I charge down the strait, which I did. Thankfully the other side is clear, the neslon took notice and abandoned his side to defend the base, gets burned down by the cruisers and DDs who followed me. Monarch also abandons his flank to take care of me, while trying to kill me, a 1000ish hp Seattle shows up broadside on to me, so I showed him that Seattle=/= Worcester. Turned my guns on the mornach, and that should have been my first ever kraken but the darn meddling dds and CAs stole it. Oh well there is the cv to kill at least. Cv then decides that if he is going down, he will not be someone’s else karaken, so dumps every last squad on me, which finnally kills me. moral of story? The only difference between a nagato and Amagi is that nagato has 2 less guns. Got 821XP base. In Co-op. In a KGV. Me and one other human I should point out. But the whole thing was just a blast on the Estuary map to mint XP. 2 solo capture points, de-planed the enemy cv before sinking him at close range. I wish all co-ops were that much fun. I knew it was there and finally broke the 100k barrier in that damn Monarch. But, at least a RN BB that has some sort of AP dakka... Here is (and yes, of course it is a defeat... working on that though...) the barrier bust of Monarch. Note the shameless exploit of two Derpitzes, well what can I say, and the 'calculated risk kamikaze' on Musashi (which didn't end well... ahhh dammit) Also thanks to the Cossack player, gave him a +1 for perfect spotting of Buffalo (he asked for assistance, was a one-shot wipe out). I only got teams full of humies with at least decent skill in CoOp today... But at least the bots seemed to like me enough to throw themselves at me and my Sims (and her torpedoes...) and even getting sunk a couple times didn't break my winning streak.. In fact, even getting torped by a Fiji from my own team (!) - didn't sink me, but resulted in me getting sunk by a bot cruiser seconds later - kept me from winning... and even securing the #2 spot by exp in that battle, as I managed to sink two enemy ships - my bot counterpart and the cruiser that had just sunk me - with torpedoes... Sims is utterly rediculous in CoOp it seems... the bots are completely unable to counter it. And I even only got a 10pt captain on it and the 5.5 km torpedoes... but as bots are unable to torp ships in smoke, storming ahead, taking out a DD coing at you and then sitting in US nearly endless smoke going dakka-dakka-dakka then sending out more torps when ships get too close, is the way to go. Ah well, only four more days, then the Dreadnaught will be mine... and I can spend my time in Random battles again, where I get on the team that has all the players that play worse than the CoOp bots and the enemy team gets all the Unicorns... ^^ Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Almost got a kraken except the Acasta got me. Gave him a +1 for effort, he chased me all over the map. Oh and yes I deleted a DD too (sealclubbing confirmed). Shot him with HE from cap A to cap C... Spoiler Should've just stopped after that game because apparently it set the trend for today's session. Not in the success department mind you, but in teams that apparently put more effort into trying to throw the games away than anything else (apart from raging in chat of course, plenty of that). Horrible, HORRIBLE teams. Actually just one team today that was halfway competent, the rest ranged from "sigh" to "why would you EVER do that!?". Didn't help that the Lightning which I was grinding isn't exactly much hard carry material. But at least I got the Jutland now so I can say goodbye to tier VIII MM again.
