I had teamed up with @BLUB__BLUB and @boat73 so I could give him some pointers for his Monarch, but as I had a 3 hour 'long' nights sleep, I felt like shat Anyway, for someone who supposedly was some BBaby main I didn't do so terrible at all. Hide contents The most hilarious thing was, you killed ALL OF THE OTHER DDs. After that, we could do as we wanted... The less hilarious (it's sort of funny though) I only managed 50k as usual. In my Gearing took out a Z-52 and Chung Mu within 3 minutes and secured a cap. Then contrived to attack/perma spot enemy Massa and Seattle until destroyed... Game 2 Asashio. Capped A and was asked to spot so I perma spotted almost the entire enemy team for the whole time after capping. We had an amazing Midway player on our team and I had full air support for the whole game... every target I F3 our CV slaughtered.. ended the game chewing on the rear of the enemy Midway with main armament... someone said Asashio torpedoes are a great way of breaking up the enemy... but you've just got to remember the 20km torpedo range when firing... our GK had a scary moment at one point...and so did I... With the current Missions to gain a certain number of base (!) exp from only won (!!!) battles, I decided it was more time effective to play for these wins/base exp only in CoOp missions, as the chances to win with a team of me and seven potatoes against eight WG bots are exponentially higher, than me and eleven potatoes winning against a dozen non-potato players.. I can carry a CoOp battle usually with little problems, even as a low tier... but during the last week(s) in Random I've encountered so many utterly horrific teams groups of players braindead potatoes, that no matter what I try, winning has become the exception... when I do 46k damage and sink three ships in a Vampire a loss is not expected or appreciated. So I guess until those "Gimme that effing Dreadnaught" missions are done, I'll only do CoOp... Nonetheless some positive news: From one of the last two Extremely Pigmented Friday Containers I got a - Tadaa... - Tripitz B... Putting my secondary specced Bismarck Captain in it lead to some very nice results. Mostly in CoOp though, but one random battle gave me one sinker, 68k damage and a win. And today I - finally - managed to get the Admiral Halsey mission line done. Didn't want to put him in the old New Mexico that rusts away in my harbour (or any of the US DDs/Cruisers I have) so I got him a brand new and shiny Lolorado. Only one battle done in her - with Halsey at 50% skills and the Lolorado totally vanilla - and managed to get a win, 70k damage and two sinkers. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

[-IAN-] IanH755 Players 2,100 posts 7,141 battles Report post #9489 Posted December 8, 2018 [Co-Op] - Had to get 20 plane kills for the RN mission so out comes "old faithful" for a really fun game where an island blocked my shells which would have made 5 kills (DD stuck on the far side of an island). and then more frustration when, due to WG's stupid "enemy team hit 0 points" rule being used in Co-Op, I spent just 3 minutes in-game leaving 2 virtually full health BB's alive and giving everyone a really crap base XP score! Yep, killed all the enemy DDs And before I killed their remaining DD (the Asashio), I did what a DD is supposed to be doing and camped like a coward in my smoke bubble and dakka dakka spotted all those Asashio DWTs so you guys wouldn't get surprised by them Was a bit of a pickle when I spotted the hull health Asashio himself while being at roughly 1/3 hp myself, but even with a couple hundred hitpoints I'll still stay afloat Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Whenever one of those "kill x planes" Missions pops up I take my good old Zuiho for a ride in CoOp - like I did today... as usual the battle was over quite fast, so I barely managed 50k damage or so, but my single Fighter Squad managed to shoot down 20 bot planes... and another one went down to Zuiho's AA.
