Had a pretty nice 180k damage game in the Fletcher.

Single handedly killed 3 enemy DDs (Fletcher, Kiev and Mahan) in Benson, torped and killed Kutuzov, and "secured" kill on Gneisenau for kraken.

This game was pretty nice - esp considering the environment for cruisers. But in total it has been yet another day of citadels from all angels. In fact most of them came through the bow again. 

 

 

 

 

But my real achievement will not be publicly naming and shaming the useless noobs I met today. Just in the last game I had on of those 11:13 games, because simply "thirty pieces of silver" is the only explanation for the amount of greed induced stupidity.

 

 

Game is on Archipelago. I am in Clemson with Kim in the OP-erator. I write in the chat to the Minekaze (thats our Judas) to stay close in case he runs into the enemy Nicholas. Ofc shi7s for brains doesnt answer, knows everything better and proceeds with his sight-seeing-tour of the blue line.  Its right now when I speculate on TS that our waste of space is "carrier hunting" aka being useless and going around the whole map.

 

Just as predicted he runs into the enemy Nicholas. I did the biggest mistake of the whole match and saved his lousy a$$ by killing the enemy Nicholas in a gun fight without loosing much health.

 

Then there is a enemy DD pushing our base, I turn around (keep track of my movement) and kill said IJN on the other side, that was threatening our base.

 

Yet another turn around and I now know where the enemy CV is hiding (behind one of t he island in the middle)- and I am in ter perfect position to surprise him. Because I am no [edited]coward thats useless and creeps around the blue line, and apparently I have magical speed hacks our saboteur is not even close. Certainly not as close as I am.

So I kill the carrier ... without problems.  Now the 2nd carrier is aiming for me .... and whats that? That useless [edited]HAD to fire torpedos from 10th row. Full  spread of 6. They would have run out before they could have hit the carrier, but they were PERFECTLY aimed to box me between the carrier strike on one side and the traitor on the other.

He had to see me when he launched those; or he could have also written a warning in chat. Its not like that completely out of position as he was there was anything for him to do - other than drooling over the keyboard. But hey winning optional, harming your team is not.

 

Since 6 torps are worse than 1 I choose to run into the CV spread ........ now I am ofc low health. Since I cant fight the now appearing DDs openly I drop smoke, dodge the drop form the CV in the smoke ..... and what this? The god damn idiot is cutting me of with yet another torp spread. Epic stuff I tell ya.

 

After dodging 2 "enemy" salvos of torps the third form one of the DDs comes in and I get hit and I get hit.

 

Now our almighty shi7lord can show of his skills fighting 2 IJN destroyers. He actually got a chance since I damaged one DD from smoke, but as you expect: Being such a utter and complete noob, he looses.

 

Lets recap his achievements:

- Being resistent to chat.

- Being one of those useless borderscrapers.

- Threw torp spreads at carrier that run out before the target - at least TWICE.

- Being a greedy [edited]that got his teammate killed.

- Lost his own ship.

- Saved a enemy carrier and two DDs from probable destruction.

 

- Lost the game ...... I mean seriously: We had this, up to the point of divine-noob intervention ofc.

 

 

And for the grand finally: Maybe it was new player, that just got his first T5 destroyer ?.... NOPE!

 

 

A god damn CBT player, with 5 k pvp games since OBT. Therefore,  boys and girls, this guy takes the "most useless and greedy [edited]"-award at least of this month, with good chances for the yearly one too. 

 

 

 

Next time you are pissed because there is a afker on your team - be glad because it could be worse: It could be on of those useless sabotaging greedy shi7lords costing you the game.

 

One Zuiho sunk, some damage on the Langley - the rest only to destroyers. Thats why there is big damage number ....... well and the fu<ktard ofc.

Get this: We see 3 enemy BBs go to D on North. I say in TS: This is won. The Kutu wins a fight against a Ognevoi and a Bismarck. We trade two cruisers for their other two BBs comming from D.

 

Where were our Battleships? Well busy throwing the game away ofc. I really need to learn how to play IJN DDs. Judging by the amount of morons in battleships, it is like dynamite fishing in a goldfish bowl ........

When you look at the screen shots below, you may say "dude, that's hardly worthy of this thread!".

To which i reply: little do you know about that hilarious game, little do you know!

 

Bastion mode in a TX game, i suggested to take 1+2, but the other BBs in my team went to 3 instead. So did, everyone except me and a new Orleans.

Well, it turned out, that the entire enemy team went to 1, which was a bit awkward and the NO got rebalanced by a salvo from a Yamato.

During my tactical retreat, i was under constant fire from both enemy DDs, an Udaloi and a Khaba, and both managed to keep my ship burning. All.the.time.

While a NoCar and two Baltimores were following the two DDs and tried to assist the two little buggers.

 

At first i was hilariously salty, than i realized something rather funny: the large majority of the enemy team was chasing me! My mood lightened up and i kept sailing in a staright line to ensure they do follow me.

They ignored the B cap and the ships of their fleet that stayed behind to snipe be the rear guard got wrecked as my team took the opportunity and destroyed them while i complimented the enemy team for their decision to chase ONE single ship.

When they relized their mistake, it was too late and the game ended abruptly.

 

Another failed lemming train, at least it was the enemy team that suffered from it. ^^

Had my Kraken denied twice today. First was in my Kamikaze Rawr and quite literally only a couple seconds stood between me and the fifth kill. Hadn't taken screenshots though ...

 

The next one was in my Atago ...

 

 

 

Enemy Farragut was sadly not very cooperative. Didn't let himself get killed by my guns and when I instead went for the last cap in an attempt to get some more XP and credits before the game ends he popped up next to my other teammates and died just before I could finish the flag capture. I swear he just wanted to spite me that niggardly bastard

 

RNG also didn't like me a lot in that game either, so few fires. But at least I got to teach an Amagi the power of superiour Nippon steel (well, superiorer than HIS Nippon steel, guess premium ships' glorious Nippon steel is folded a couple thousands time than whatever plebeian Nipponese scrapmetal they use for those others ... I actually put more AP damage into him than he did to me in total xD ), most of the AP as seen in the detailed report was from the Princess Eugene and the Nürnberg as I was busy trying to thread the needle of angling between the two of them before I finally killed the Nürnberg. Bounced two AP salvoes off my belt armour as I was Banzai rushing the poor helpless BB, then put a couple torps into his side from point blank distance ...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I also got to bring my Gneisenau (stock) out for her maiden voyage (she's a bit shy). Her trial by fire went about quite smoothly until I finally succumbed by overextension. An Atlanta for some reason thought it would be a great idea to round an island with a Gneisenau (and a friendly Scharnhorst) waiting there ... literally. And we were spotted by airplane so he really had no excuse. He took two of my torps and that was my first kill with the Gneisenau. Next up was an ARP Ashigara at ~15km.

Triple citadel, who said the Gneisenau guns were inaccurate (50% hitratio!!!) ?

 

Well, two kills, two Devastating Strikes, solid if unspectacular XP and credits. Very good first impression

And i actually got complimented, must have been the Udaloi - not sure tho.

 

I was only able to fire the rear turret during my tactical retreat, otherwise i might have risked getting rebalnced by their Yamato or Currywurst.

While the result is bad even by potato standards, the game itself made up for it.^^

 

And when things get derpy, i still have my fav ships which rarely ever fail me. Ships that make me feel welcome and give me that warm fuzzy feeling.

Like the one below, went passed the C cap where the majority of the enemyn team was heading, spotted the CV and went into a gunfight with him...

Was taken out by a backstabbin' enemy Iowa that interrupted my gun duel with the Currywurst, at least the Currywurst had the decency to flood to death after my Shima got rebalanced.

I'm in LOVE with the Gneisenau! This ship is bloody amazeballs. Awesomesauce. Sekai ichiban!

I had already posted the results of her maiden voyage (with that h4x0ring 50% hitratio), now I have a couple more games under her belt (seven total, not much but enough for a solid trend) and she just keeps delivering.

 

Still stock, only my third game ever in her, get seeded as bottom tier in a tier IX game (half the enemy is tier VII, rest split between VIII and IX - but bad enough for most stock ships). Got a Kraken out of that one ... mkay, the Cyclone helped me play cat&mouse with my positioning and picking fights, but still not bad!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A later game and she sang for me again (lots tier VIIIs again, still stock). Our only DD spawned on the other side, so we went straight for A flag. If the enemy DDs don't go for it, we can capture it ... I proceed to just that, getting a nice full capture by myself (in a BB ), then work my gunnery magic (looks like the Gneisenau really doesn't like Myoukous ). Of course the dying part of our team on the other side of the map accuses us of camping, but ey, we carried your arses! Our CV did an excellent job which is a rarity nowadays so he got away with +1 Karma for his efforts too.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Gneisenau is a real gem!

 

Definately can not understand how people are whining about her being bad. And those guns whose accuracy is allegedly poor are lasers! I have an average 36% main battery hit ratio with her (and I'm always one to take potshots at distant DDs if I don't have a better target so I'm most definitively NOT just taking the easy shots!!!). The guns, the speed, the armour, the secondaries, the AA and torpedoes. This ship is like if someone looked up all the things that make a ship fun to play, bolted them together and christened her the Gneisenau!

 

10/10, would bang, would not throw out the airlock! <3
