I understand in the perfect world where everyone is nice...there would be no need for such system..All I did was ask the enemy team why they are running and not capping/supporting their teams and BAM CHAT BAN FOR A DAY? I mean if it is so that they can't harass players you have the mute/blacklist button for that. It is incredibly dumb that you can't talk to your friends ingame because some guys reported you because you clear skied his CV or something. Log in, start game, see your DD sail around the map to kill a CV two tiers lower, you tell him to please go for the caps becasue what hes doing is useless, he replays "stfu fa**ot noob" and before you type your response, poof, chatbanned, while he keeps doing his bullsht. As I've said in game, if someone needs it explaining then they're beyond help anyway. Most folk you tell will act arrogantly about being told a course of action that's actually intelligent. I would think that with the limited number of reports/compliments each player gets per day you may just have been lucky and the reports were all used up for that day. Excellent way to keep up with the lads and no bans. Though it kinda leaves the rest of the team out cold, but you can't have everything. I only use team chat occasionally and mostly only after I am dead already and never to address the other team. No point in drawing someone's ire on yourself for no good reason now is there? Still... The only purpose of having that automated system is that bad players can compensate themselves by reporting and get good players chatbanned for their excellent game performance or just trying to give verbal lessons to the mentioned bad players. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

anonym_qDNKt18wHeYh Players 12 posts Report post #18 Posted April 5, 2018 Absolutely the most broken part of WOWS without a doubt The system in Rocket League works better - if you get reported for chat it looks for "banned words" on a list and if it finds them you get banned from the game for 24hrs, then 72hrs, then permanently I was just in a game with the usual cruiser who died 2 minutes in slating everyone I asked him to shut up He called me a "c*nt" told me he hopes my family die, then he spam reported me for chat and I get banned from chat for 24hrs. He then spent 10 more minutes swearing at me and throwing abuse in chat while I carried on playing. Such a brilliant system! Then I tell him to "politely [edited]off" and I say that my ship cant turn as fast cause im a BB while he threw his cruiser in front of me. "result" I get a chat ban for a day. Logic? People find trash talking annoying, by your behaviour on the forums I can't say that I'm surprised the enemy team reported it as odds are you were thoroughly rude, you come across as obnoxious on the forums and I'd not be shocked if you're the same in the game. Doubly so since you've declared the intention to spam map pings to annoy people on the teams you get in. Is there anything that can be done to make the block player function also block F keys and map ping spam @MrConway, @Tuccy ? I saw a while back you said you would see if that could be looked into and the map ping and F key spamming chat banned people are just as "unsportsmanlike" as the *edit that refuse to play to spite their teams.
