Did you already play it? Do you think it is OP or not or to long to be good? Looking at video's about it it seems pritty good.. Edit: Did not know it was on sale before but since it has been around it is good to know what your expieriences are so far would you buy it again even with 'the package'? Even though I really waited for this ship to be back on sale, the high 30€ price compared to the original 10€ ship+slot deal is too much. The only DD that can cap A and B at the same time. Have to say it sat unused for most the time I had it. What personal remarks? You play a grand total of 10% of your games on DDs, that is a fact, nothing personal. If I were you I would pass on this ship. Adapting its unique playstyle takes a while but when I got it, almost every match I was playing was a total blast. I was making credit earnings equal to Belfast. She is worth it just for the LOLs she can be difficult to play but she just bristles guns and Torps. NOOO use all 4 you can almost see the crew jumping over board and the player throwing his mouse across the room when you launch all 12 fish at him.. SO MUCH FUN.. We took 3 in to battle in a Div one time.. A HOOD and another tier 7 BB ran away squealing like pigs when they realised we were 8km away. I did started out with BB s long ago then started climbing the CL and DD lines so I already have a modest collection of dd s ... as you can see at the moment I try to get to the Benson. I really like mine a lot (75 games in her) but I only use it in co-op as thats what I play now but as you have over 200 DD games with most of them around T4/5/6 (LOL at Juanx saying 200 games is "you don't play DD's") then you should be able to jump into one without too much issue but remember it's turning is more like a cruiser than a DD. The Guns are very good but short range (9km-ish) without AFT (11km-ish after) with a slightly long reload (7 sec) but better than a IJN DD's guns, they hit hard and the dispersion isn't bad or the fire chance. The top speed with a speed flag is 39.1kts so it's not fast and CV's will love dropping on you due to the poor AA and lack of turning circle. As mentioned the torps are short ranged but extremely fast and hard hitting with a 42-ish second reload with captain skills etc. Most cruisers at T5 only need a single launch to kill but I fire two just to be sure and even BB's rarely need all 12 torps fired, but it must be massive panic stations when they see 12 torps if you do. Ship detection is a round 5.9 with Captain skills (don't need CE for Co-Op so mine is around 6.4km) which is fine for the tier. Hope that helps! 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Played 64 games in PvP I do better in her than my Kamakaze and Kamakaze is as OP as hell.. You need to give her a chance mate. Trust me you are missing out on SOOOOO much fun. Yes she is Clumsy in a turn but she can beat tier 6 DD in a gun fight.. Her guns turn through 360 which is just great.. Torps are short range but very little will survive a strike @IanH755 and @Cosseria sorry Guys but you have played 1 game in PVP between you in the ship. Its hardly an informed opinion on how she will play in PVP. 9.2 km is fine for gun range. yes rate of fire is a little slower than some but she has 7 guns and as i said above they rotate 360.. You both need to give her some more time @SteDorff I have just short of 4k games in DD's Apart from fact Okhotnik is great fun she is my best performing tier 5 DD. I'm not sure about the "don't buy unless you love DD's". I'm a cruiser main love the Okhotnik. With that clumsy handling and being ridiculously overgunned, it plays more like a light cruiser with <6 km concealment and smoke. That's actually a fun package to play. The biggest caveat IMO is the unusually big reliance on commander skills. For me the ship comes alive at 14 points (DE or BFT, CE, AFT). 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
