Cosseria Players 1,064 posts 4,944 battles Report post #8 Posted October 10, 2017 French CL La Gloire in her 1943 zebra camo I actually like it enough to have built a model of her (the 1/400 scale JSC paper model) Too bad that in game the fictional De Grasse has got it, while the La Gallissonnière has got the anonymous Ms 22...

Type 6 camo on Shima (blue scheme) and Grozovoi premium camo, sad is that US DD prem camos are not very nice :)

[HOO] Kevbar Beta Tester 687 posts 8,087 battles Report post #16 Posted October 10, 2017 Well, considering that it wasn't restricted to just WoWS vessels, then I have to say that the camo scheme used on all of the submarines I served on is far more effective than any other in RL or depicted in game. This particular photo was taken on my last trip.
[BONUS] Hedgehog1963 [BONUS] Beta Tester 3,211 posts 14,951 battles Report post #17 Posted October 10, 2017 I run a mod to get rid of the more horrid camo patters as they break immersion. Favourite is Belfast camo.

[DK-CP] NothingButTheRain Players 6,338 posts 14,259 battles Report post #19 Posted October 10, 2017 And I actually like the really weird colored camo patterns, but since I don't play WoWS for a long time, I haven't been able to try out a lot of them yet. On my Furutaka I like the type 1 and type 2 due to their greenness and the Valentine 2017 camo looks really good on my Furutaka as well. Too bad I only gotten 10 of those valentine ones (they came out of a crate. I was very surprised but I didn't mind! :D) I like the ARP camo's a lot as well...were these ever to be gotten separately? ARP ships can not equip any camo, it's a skin WG slapped on these ships. There are Mods to make all (or at least a lot) ships look like the ARP ships. Drunken_Jedi Players 849 posts 2,954 battles Report post #23 Posted October 10, 2017 De Grasse has an amazing camo scheme. I also love the Minotaur and Monarchs premium camo too, Monarch especially has a subtle effect on the armour belt which is quite nice. Still want a historical premium camo for my Emile Bertin and Emerald though :).

(which I quite like). It was just red paint IIRC. Japanese cruisers had their decks covered with linoleum stripes, hence their brown colour. Linoleum was also used on British DDs, but it was called corticene and it was brown or green.
