Suggestion for the next free xp ship

Alaska class large cruiser. It would fit perfectly in T-VII as a BB. Would be cool to have this cruiser killer to fight the other battlecruisers at T-VII.

IMHO next  free  XP ship sould be  a  CA (maybe even a T9 CA)  but certainly not 3rd BB (and alaska would probably be put into a BB slot)

I'd rather see the Alaska class appearing as T9 cruisers (which would then free up T10 for the CA2-D, a design preliminary of the Alaskas that had an extra turret) more in line with a super Moskva (with drawbacks to match) rather than trying to shoehorn her into the lower tiers as a battleship. Considering how now battleships are taking on more and more of the roles of cruisers, it would be nice for cruisers to return the favour by treading on battleships' toes a bit. Plus the Alaskas were never classed as battlecruisers, being an intermediate between a true battlecruiser and a regular heavy cruiser, the Iowas were far more battlecruiser-like than the Alaskas ever were.

 

If an Alaska were to be added as a premium, I'd say that the USS Guam should be added rather than Alaska herself, as it would free up the name Alaska for a regular tech tree ship rather than the confusingly having the premium USS Alaska and the "Guam class" appearing in the tech tree. It's not as if either of the actually completed Alaskas did anything of historical note anyway, so it would just be a name rather than being a part of history.

A Hipper class CL (12 x 15 cm) at T7 or T8 could also be an interesting possibility.

Well, there were 2 ships planned for the B-65 design class, so possible indeed. But how one would build a tree below her? Should she have CA or BB status ingame? Or maybe a new class? Many questions remain open as that ship would be molesting cruisers while suffering from BBs.

Heavy CA/HCA? not a BB please no, but a lolpen CA please 

 

On a more serious note, she would have to extend out from a tree, prefrebly the cruiser one, since i dont think a tree can be built around this kind of ship class, thats why im rooting for a FXP variant first, she would be a nightmare for cruisers but also a big thorn for BB's.

The Alaska's was never classified as battlecruisers because the USN never used this term. And no we don't need another papership

I'd like to see a DD of some sort as the next one. RN, French or perhaps German.

Too many BBs in the meta as is presently and for that reason I'm not sure a cruiser would fair well.

My guess is that they will relase a free exp ship for every (important) nation first before doing a second RN or USN one.

IMO taking one from a popular class is kind of a no-brainer, so it will probably be a BB.

Sure Musashi is fine but I want more diversity. After Nelson I have begun to stockpile gaian 300K atm.

I have abstain from pure paper, building should have least begun.

I'd much rather see the Alaska as a TX cruiser than as a BB, but not sure how it would fit into the tree. Perhaps have a split after the Baltimore? Would sort of kill the possibility to make it a free XP ship if it was at TX as well.
