[WG: CVs are a problem] Ticket asking refund for premium CVs

Well, that was fast. They recommended me to share my griefs here, so anyway, here I started, here I ended.

That 14 000 doubloons proposal correspond to Enterprise's price - I had to mention a ship specifically in the title field when opening the ticket.

I have to admit I appreciate the customer service effort.

However this doesn't help the whole situation, because it really was not about my personal purchases. I tried to report the incredible situation to higher levels and force a reaction.

I know people who has done the same. Constant dripping wears the stone. The aim is not to get a refund, but to change that stupid decision.

As for me you dont have to refund my saipan WG. Just get rid of that class until you understand what skill matchmaking means and how op cv impacts the gameplay , especially considering 39% wr cv vs 70% wr cv in randoms.

To develop skill match-making - it would take lots of time to get it right. And even after that it would fail.

Pro players also sometimes play like potatos and even I sometimes get things right and do excellent in this game. And if pro havnt played for half a year, first games might be closer to my level, but his 70% win rate will keep him playing against other similar players... And if someone is drunk or just too tired (but still wants to play)?

WG cant balance all of this.

Its random and it will keep being like this.

 

AS for clan wars... well... nice they admit they have a problem they dont know how to properly solve in first season.

I think its step forward.

 

And if they do allow 1 CV per team, its not like every CV player will be able to play it in clan wars as most wont be selected anyways.

I think most people buy prem CV cause reviews have word "OP" or "GREAT" in it.

I know thats why i bought Saipan. That and i had unneeded gold after buying them big packages.

 

And now they rage cause trolling is fun.     (not talking about actually angry tier 10 CV owners that dont mention "premium" in theyre angry comments)

Only problem with those 3 CV you talk about is the 2 USN ones are the only BALANCED CV and by fare. the best USN CV  in there tiers.

 

36 ships at tier 7 Kaga and Siapan are in top 5 performing in just about EVERY Catagery

28 ships at tier 8 Enterprise is the top 3 in  just every Catagery

Looking at your profile just over 100 games in CV (Random and COOP) looks like you have made on effort to learn how to play them, and seriously with so few games why the hell you buy 3 Prem CV... 

Was it maybe because they were Acknowledged by just about every reviewer as Strong if not OP and you though you could just jump in and be a champ. well they are CV old chap its not that easy.

You Purchases are all you Fault and I for one say there is no way you should get a refund. Stupid request like this is what ruins it for the rest of the player base

 

And if they do give you a refund they should put a hold on your account NEVER letting you buy them again.

 

one thing amuses me why are people so shocked that they have said no CV in Clan. We have 1 CV at high tiers because they said 2 CV on a team in 12v12 was to much influence on a match.... so as there is only 7 on a team......

Wait ... you actually got Support to offer you a de facto refund on a long since past premium ship? The hell?

I understand that getting Support to refund you a ship after a minim grace period or number of games is basically about as likely as squeezing blood out of a stone.

 

 

Am I the only one who thinks that's actually a major indicator towards something here? The fact they're considering this despite you having had that premium CV for some time (I presume from the content of the earlier response) and played a lot of games in it is almost unbelievable given WG Supports usual stance on premium refunds. Has the refund policy in general been changed and I wasn't aware?

Because if those policies didn't change, I dare suggest that WG allowing Support such leniency is the reaction to a crapton of pressure that actually hits their wallets. Granted, refunding in doubloons is no actual loss, but still ... I never heard of such an offer beforehand.

I suppose someone on top is mindful and prepared to manage the hot global scene they created by bringing the news that one class players won’t play Clan Battles (at least not in their preferred class) and idiotically accusing that class of doing its job (spotting, countering) like all the classes are supposed to do.
The scenery with the community coordinators repeating like parrots their allotted script was disheartening.
 
The forum moderator did his job, and I suppose the upper level prefer to nuance things when the matter goes beyond one irascible user, especially in easy-flammable environment. Also they would prefer this to stay here instead of going somewhere else on the internet with the mention of censorship by them. Then it is an opportunity to show that they are open and transparent with their player base even when it’s not all bright. Not the last, the exchange shows their will to keep customers happy.

I’m fine, it’s not about me, again. It’s about WG attitude of taking the easiest communication path in their game development, when it comes to the impact on players.

 

They could have said “These Clan Battles will be a beta-test, with atypical setup : accent on cruisers, limited number of players (7), only one BB and no CV. We are working on the final format and this edition will help us to make choices etc. don't worry CV players will have soon their opportunities etc.”

 

Instead they justified their decision with insulting to intelligence arguments. CVs are a problem because they spot ? Really WG ?

 

The guys in charge with communication basically negated their own game coherence.

They went so far in officially bashing a class that they offered motives to ask for refund for general rushed release - which I signaled in hope for them to take on their responsibilities.
