Tier VIII is garbage( Matchmaking inside)

You have to wait until targets are spread out and their AA guns are damaged. Or hope the enemy carrier is asleep to strike a lone DD early. That's all you can do against tier X.

The only T8 premium I´d ever shell money for would be the Kutuzov since is punches up really well.

 

All the other ones are useless due to the stupid MM. a CV on top of that - may God rest ur soul.

Get used to it, t8 is actually the best and imo only playable high tier in the game.

at 9 & 10 borderhugging explodes, a complete shitshow.

Funny ive never had a T8 game. I always end up at T10. Stats wise it's my worst tier by far although I was a different player back then. Maybe I should jump back in and sort it out a bit.

Playing a low-tier battleship can be an uphill experience, and then some. I can only assume that it's much the same thing with carriers, and maybe even more so.

So, go for a destroyer instead? They are much less tier-dependent!

I m agreed with the cv's MM 

It s pretty hard to play a TVIII Cv on some TX MM

T8 CV in heavy tier 10 is a pain to play, but a bit like every CV facing 2 tiers above them. 

 

Concentrate on scouting, killing planes and don't waste your own on attacking clusters, AA-monsters, etc. Don't except a major damage game but you can contribute in many other ways.

 

Also when you don't have any choice than attacking a T10 BB (alone) or a cluster, you can send the torps from far away. They are so clumsy they won't avoid them anyway.

Are they CV's? No offence meant but I am suggesting you have a lack of CV experience to jump straight into T8, especially with US CV's.

When you play a CV you are mirror matched, so at least the other CV is also a T8 - but that is a bye the bye

I have Saipan, Enterprise and Kaga in my harbour, have done for some months, haven;t driven any o them because I am not ready for CV battles at those tiers - drop down tiers and play up towards T8 using CV's, you will get used to having to be lower tiered against the other ships.

T8 is arguably the most difficult tier in game, if you can handle it's MM you can handle pretty much anything...

Amagi is totally fine in a tier X match. You can still devastate CAs and you can pen BBs with amazing 410 mm guns. Any tier VIII DD should be fine if there isnt a CV in the battle.

Average damage on the server of the Amagi is around the same as the Izumo and Frederich .... It's a awesome ship.

That is possible, it's called tier X CV.

 

Yes it's annoying, but always top tier = a lot of easy tier VI kills. So no, unless you wouldn't mind nerfing them a bit because they won't meet higher tiers?

I grinded through the Mogami and it sucked all the life out of me and made me want to quit this piece of **** game, that´s how boring tier X matches are in a T8 cruiser.

I love being in the first place on scoreboard with my chappy and my atago in a tier X match. Carrying tier Xs with a tier VIII cruiser is always satisfying.

Mogami is a firestarter. 

Just like Kutuzov. 

Only difference is that you don't have easy-mode smoke.

 

I would guess that KM/USN Cruisers have a harder time.

You have three games in Amagi, so there's no point commenting on your stats for that. That said, I find Amagi works best as a mobile BB that cruises around, similarly to cruisers, and not as a stationary bow-camping BB. You can always shoot HE at angled high-tier BBs and T10 BBs with high health pools. 

 

Your survivability in Akizuki is pretty low, as is your damage. Careful not to overextend. This applies to all your DDs. You need to play smarter with them, be patient and look for opportunities to do damage. Currently you're throwing away your ship for too little damage. Akizuki is a slow and clumsy DD, so gunfights with bigger ships aren't too likely to work in your favour when you both are spotted. You're going to need both concealment expert and IFHE on the ship (the gun caliber is too low for HE to pen most things. IFHE lets you pen DD hulls and big ship superstructures).

as a mostly t9-t10 player i want to say, i gotta have something too utterly destroy right?

if ur performing very poor as a t8 in a t10 game its either because your ship is awfull against t10s or you just play like crap as most t8 battleships dont get instantly deleted by higher tier ships
