Just because it's the weakest CV does not negate the fact it is a CV. The rockets are mini tims, the torpedo bombers will sort of work and if I'm in the mood for special effects more so than damage I can even give the Divebombers a go.

If you are into buying one of the most expensive premiums just so you can gimp your own team, then by all means, go for it. I have the GZ (from container), I played it. It basically relies on the enemy CV being so bad that you can compensate for your ship's shortcomings with skill alone. And sure, you are still a CV and essentially broken. But as you are the CV, you have the responsibility of being that player in the broken ship that does ther job in carrying the team and if you are up against pretty much anything that isn't another GZ, an Implacable or an Indomidable and the enemy CV isn't a potato, well, you might be the very reason your team lost the match.

 

Until WG buff the dive bombers to be workable, this CV is basically just not worth it.

I hope WG is working on some kind of buff to her dive bombers because if they don't see the problem then....then God help us because it's so obvious.

Yeah, but you could as well buy a model kit for the graf zep and even get Ju-87s with it, instead of encouraging this travesty by giving some folks a good amount of money for making a broken ship (because it's bad) of a broken class (because the class fundamentally is OP) in an online game so you can put a mod on to patch out the historically inaccurate camouflage, if the mod would still work, given the ship now has different planes and all.

All very true but I can't express my hatred of absolute morons with a model. A CV let's me literally look down on plebs (yes the rework has made me a bitter  why do you ask).

I'd just salute the Shokaku or the Enterprise for  a well played game. I am salty at the mostly surface ship mains that whined so loudly we got this rework forced on the CV playerbase, they're my targets... and with the way the rework forced CV players to focus on bombing the surface vessels over and over and over and over again, well, to quote Thanos. This does bring a smile to my face.
