What is the best ship to farm citadels?

I have the pensacola, new mexico, (stock) Bismarck and 3 ARP kongos, as well as the ARP heie, which of them is best for the citadel british mission?

Pensacola in Coop battles. Just spam AP against other cruisers. I used my good old Phoenix for the Citadel hits in Coop, I had them in like 2 or 3 battles. 

 

if you don't want to do coop, the New Mexico will do the job.

I dunno, seems like cruiser vs cruiser gives the most citadels the fastest. With BB against cruisers your ROF is just too low. However if you choose to do it in Pensacola you need to be slightly lucky with matchmaking.

Pensacola in my case but all those are able to do so.........issue is you need to know how to aim and how to position yourself.....tomatoes usually die from citas before being able to hit one themselves.

 

About coop, all and nice but usually bots go bow on -> therefore only with overmatching will you be able to strike some citas, much easier to get cita in my pensa during a random battles full of tomatoes.

It has to be T4 for the mission though...

 

Also, you can do these in Co op?

If it's in coop, try Mogami, 5+per salvo is pretty common.

Ahh don't really pay attention to those, I rather play what I feel like playing   

 

Tier 4 citadels, take Imperator Nicolai  Or tier 6 take Arizona.

Yes, I did most tasks in coop. Citadel hits with Phoenix, Fire tasks with my French cruisers.  Getting citadels in Coop is a lot easier than having to wait for potatoes in a Random Battle.

In coop you can take cruisers, in random battles if you need citadels you could take a cruiser and pray to get lucky but it's safer to use a baby boat

So i tried the pensacola in a co op, got 2 citadels, but i couldn't citadel the enemy pensacola, very well, getting one off about 4 broadside salvos. I got 3 in a Bismarck while i waited for this thread, so i'm going to take the Kuma (co op) out and see what i get :)

Btw any advice on the torpedo challenge, is that good to do in co op as well ?

Omaha or Tier 4 - 5 French cruisers did that for me. Just rush to enemy ships and let them eat them. :) In Coop that is. Coop battles also end a lot quicker than Random Battles so you can do them faster, and if you don't play to win but to score torp hits no one cares much. If you suicide in Random battles you will make your team mates angry.

Ohh, the set enemy BB at fire 10 times can be done with the cruisers as well so you both farming the torp damage and the set on fire task at the same time.  But if you don't have the French cruisers anything will do I guess,
