For the people who are going to go to the gamescom, can we try something new in the game before it comes out? And in relation to the game, will the mechanics of water mines be implemented for standard games? Or be able to know where we have given to the enemy ship when we make an impact?

Hello, @Wuidermach,

As it might be a bit too late to reply to this question on gamescom, moved it from the gamescom thread here for a separate answer:

  • For the people who are going to go to the gamescom, can we try something new in the game before it comes out?
Of course! On gamescom, we will be presenting the British battleships (well, and the floating Stuka airfield) - so if you visit us, you will be able to get some hands-on first impressions.
  • And in relation to the game, will the mechanics of water mines be implemented for standard games?
We do not plan that yet. In Dunkirk scenario the mines worked well to shape the battlefield and add an interesting part to the gameplay (as well as a callback to the real-world issues plaguing the Operation Dynamo). However we do not really think we should be creating "no go" zones in Randoms, so for now we do not plan that. You may meet them in more PvE missions in the future however :)
  • Or be able to know where we have given to the enemy ship when we make an impact?
You mean to have "shell camera" or something? This is a frequent suggestion, however our current engine limits the option to do so (plus it could look pretty messy with multiple hits at the same time). So... Not for now.

Cheers!
