König Albert has also returned to the webshop for 6 days. If you cannot see them, make sure you are logged in. I have been waiting for Perth for months! And i missed Albert the last time she was on the shop. But i am sitting on a sh*tload of doubloons, why can i not spend them on anything good? Of course i understand that WG wants customers to spend more real money instead of doubloons (for which we already have spend money). But at some point it must become of interest to WG that such players do spend their horded doubloons on something, otherwise they stop spending real money at all until the doubloons are gone (like me now). I really do want to buy Perth and Albert, but for doubloons. WG why not please enable atleast one of them ingame for the Anniversay? Please! I don't care if it is shop only as you can use the ingame dubloons for Premiumtime (even a Year if it builds up enough over the year- it is advised to buy it on xmas as it is common to get discounted then) SHUT UP and take my money! Edit: before i buy (yet) though...... Anyone got the courage to buy the Topbundle and post a pic of the flag in there please? You need others to deal with low hp targets, waste of already low dpm if you need to kill small stuff. I kind of like playing her a bit, but it does get frustrating if your team refuses to shoot the almost death ships ( sounds like playing a BB right :D ). I wanted a Perth... and a Duca... Not another BB seal clubber ( I been told KA could replace my Imperator on tier 4 as best clubbing material ). Perth would just be 'fun' if you have the smoke module for extra smoke time, and then just pop plane and scout for yourself... sounds so salt inducing, it must be fun! Duca is a cruiser killer, it's agile and has rail guns, traits I like. But this isn't a cruiser meta right now so that kind of puts me of on buying her. I have a Duca and I have found that (probably because of the BB meta) she is a very good harrassing ship. Your statement about HMAS Perth being a bit of a salt miner has me very intrigued. VI matchmaking will rarely favor it, so what's the point? Ranked season ends in three days. Most of the Perth reviews didn't recommend it for randoms so I will pass I guess. The differences in smoke system + having access to HE on Perth should make playing Perth easier than playing Leander ( though the AP misses the RN normalization iirc.. not 100% sure? ). Normal smoke and repair party (theoretical max HP of 48k) allows you to stay on the front line for protracted periods. It's a domination specialist (see ranked) Perth is a CL/DD hybrid. It's harder, but more rewarding, juggling the two styles. More BBs rage quit agasint me in Perth than Belfast. 2 minute 6" IFHE smoke spam is a bit broken, esp after you've just stealth torped em in the face. Duca d'Aosta is a RU CL/DD hybrid with 12km mines. (I hope the Italian DD or CL line plays like this) Perth is my favourite ship in the whole game, d'Aosta isn't far off. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Range is less important with a 8.6km surface detection. You'll want to get as close possible for accurate shots on DDs and threaten torpedoes agasint larger ships. It's torps have amazing angles and the armour is quite trollish, in the sense that you have so little of it that you can easily get overpens even when broadside on to BBs and getting citadelled is rare. Pretty much this - Perth is interesting.. But I just bought Kutuzov and Harekaze during summer sales, so I dont want to spend more money on this game atm. That is also the thing, both the Perth and Duco has quite different play styles compared with the ships I have, they might give me some of the enjoyment back I been missing lately. Do it. Seriously, i mean it. If you love Leander ( my most played Ranked ship and WR 85%+) you'll love the Perth. Nothing is more satisfying then sailing point blank to any non-radar ship and blast them in the face and/ or let them eat fish. With no other "Commonwealth" ships in the game to share the burden, its a fairly long and miserable grind to get the captain from 3 points up to the 10 (CE), 14 (CE, IFHE) or 17 (CE, IFHE, DE) that you need to make the Perth reasonably effective. How about selling those ships for doubloons? Neh better make some packs for 50 euro , idiots will pay as they usual do. Ah one more thing- anybody know what "collector" status means on RU server?
