Have you ever sold Tier X ship?

But if I ever do, it'll be the Grozovoi both because I don't like it and because I'll be able to use the credits to buy a ship that I actually like.

Nope. I have bought, sold, re-bought, sold again Pensacola, Cleveland, and Yorck a couple of times. But never a T10. And although I am not overly fond of Minotaur (simply not my type of ship), I don't think I would ever sell her.

Nope and never.  Didn't sell any of my t10 tanks in WoT either.  I have never really struggled for credits, and would rather play a few premium games than sell a t10 even if I never played it.

 

On top of that I never sell any ship that is not elited.  I might not play it for months and months but it only gets sold when it is finished.  This means I have only ever re-bought a handful of ships, and this has been for unforeseen reasons such as ranked and operations.

I am getting insanely close to selling my Shima. Just one more match with <10k damage that ends in a detonation is about as far as I can keep up with that- (descends into incoherent garbling)

But I must say that I have a special approach about T10 since I played WoT : I only grind a branch if I think I will like the gameplay and I only buy a T10 if I'm sure I will like it. I will soon unlock Gearing bu I won't buy it : it seems rather meh and I enjoy Fletcher so much !!

Did ragequit the Neptune grind and the Tashkent once. But until now I kept my four tier X (Yamato, Hindenburg, Moskva and Khabarovsk) in the port, even if I'm rarely playing Yamato.

 

I'd say I'm doing better than I did in WoT, selling shamelessy at least twice the Foch 155, twice or thrice the IS-7, sold the JPE100 and favoured the E-100 instead, and so on. xD

Only tier 10 I have is the Des Moines and I love it like a brother.

I sold my minotaur because I got bored of dakadaka spam, did good enough in it tho.

I also sold the zao, I just can't be arsed with that ship, but it is great ship.

Like stats wise, maybe zao is better than des moines or whatever, but des moines is more fun, more stuff for you to do and influence the match.

on the Fletcher and now the hull upgrade the the torps i am loving her and i doubt i'll buy the gearing just for the sake of having a T10. 
T9 just seems a tad more fun

Anyway, WoWs -> nope. In WoT I sold and rebought my IS7 many many many times. 

 

edit: actually I sold my Shima two times I think.

Sold Des Moines, as it's no good in coop. 

Learned to test them well on the Testserver to find out if they work.

Only t10 i sold was kurfurst... ship just didn't work for me... rebought it couple of moths later just to have it sit in port. I enjoy cruisers far more anyway..

Yeeeees !! Even if i try to collect all the ship ( im at 137 right now ), when take the shimakaze, after used 6/7 times i immediately sell. It will be the last one i will buy again.....  or not.

Yes. Bought and sold the Shimakaze and Khabarovsk *twice*.

The harsh truth is that even if you want to like a ship or play style, at some point you realize you just don't.

I have yet to get to my first T10 (German) but first my first game in my T9 that I got recently I play multiple lines at the same time . I don't sell ships from tier 6 and up never will got enough credits I keep them with modules and all and a good captain 8-10pt. as far as I have only if I need a 19 pt on a T6 I will retrain it and after ranked I will retrain it back again with doubloons. The same with world of tanks

I went to tier 10 for only 2 branches. Kept my Yamato and Hindenburg, even if I practically don't play them.

 

I find high tiers really boring. My bracket is tier 3 to tier 8

I think I first bought IS-7 while keeping IS-8, then sold IS-8, then sold IS-7, then re-bought IS-8, then sold it and re-bought IS-7, and finally sold it and bought IS-8 that then got renamed into T-10 and I never regretted it since that 122mm is so much better than the IS-7 130mm shotgun. Also T-10 is overall much more fun.

Only TX I have is the Shimakaze, and I'll never sell her because I simply love playing that ship.

Shimakaze back in June 2016. Had jus. nigh finished grinding Kagero when the "let's remove an entire gameplay type" update of May 2016 happened.

 

I decided to finish the grind and buy Shima anyway.

Played 18 games, tested all torpedo types.

She had twice as many torpedoes as my old Kagero.

And 0 times the fun.

The last grinding effort of Kagero, about 10 games, were hell. I kept going because I hoped Shima would restore that old joy of playing I had before the update.

 

I was wrong...

Nothing has ever been so grey, tasteless.

 

So out of sorrow and anger I threw Shimakaze away. I never had the occasion to love her. When I reached her she already was but an empty shell. I didn't want to glance at that pale copy of my old loved type of ship.

 

Haven't played IJN dds since then until about November. When I heard about the split and the subsequent moving/removal of even more torpedoes I sold about 2 or 3 ship (was broke at that time) to buy back Fubuki for the express purpose of having one last game with the 15km.

 

It was a blast. Not only a tremendous victory but also the last glimpse I had on this forgotten joy.

 

Then I sold her back, never to lay my eyes on this branch again.

 

Much latter I grinded other branches. I raised US DDs up to Fletcher. I obtained Midway enjoying both Essex and her a lot. I grinded cruisers, Russians, British. I even spent my lost hours aboard one of the mighty battleships.

 

But I never found that joy again.

 

There one thing I had been waiting for since I bought the Gremyashchy. 

It was Enterprise.

I was ready to spend whatever her price would be.

 

When she appeared I was caught off guard. Looking at her, I remembered what my old enthusiasm was.

I had been collecting the pieces but coul never fix the puzzle back.

 

I didn't want this game to destroy my love for ships like it did with IJN destroyers. There are other ships I loved besides Enterprise. Ships that would come at some point.

 

I didn't want any more bad memories. Because I love these ships.

I have a Yamato, played a few battles, got sick of the meta of high tiers and sold it. A few months later the permanent camos appeared and bought Yamato again and the camo forgetting I quitted by how the meta at high tiers is and I haven't sold her again because of paying the camo, but it's gathering dust in my port again.

 

I'm not bothered with grinding anything past tier 7 anymore so I guess I won't have to sell another one.
