Yeah, still hurts me to not play the IJN, i liked what they where supposed to be. I will play the German DD's und slowly my Americans aswell but the Pan Asia Tree looks just great. That's about the only thing they can do better, except they suck at that too because of the torp detection range which means mostly just inexperienced players will get hit. Kagero has the best concealment in the game (well, I think T2 Tachibana is technically better), so as long as you don't hit radar or German sonar, you can get very close before you torp. Always torp ships heading your direction, not away from you. If you can, try to aim to where there are multiple ships. Prioritise ships after size. Battleships are easier to hit than destroyers.
