Aiming problem after patch

Hey guys!

 

Has anyone noticed problems with aiming after the patch?

I seem to miss a lot of salvos that would normally have been certain hits.

Has anything changed regarding ship speeds or shell arcs??

Didn't notice anything.

 

Do you perhaps use a non-default aiming reticule? I've had it happen a couple times that patches reverted some settings to default, so if you're used to a different aiming reticule and the patch reverted it to the default one and you didn't notice it could explain that your aim may be off.

 

At least that's the only reasonable explanation I can think of.

Can't say I've noticed anything. There is new lighting on some maps, could that be throwing off your aim? Is the reticle you use modded? If so it might not agree with the latest release.

I am experiencing big problems while playing with BBs.

My shots are way off even though i aim exactly the same.

Something has definetely changed.

I noticed something like that. But that is just because I played some ranked games with Fuso after the patch release. So basically no changes at all - Fuso is still the retarded shotgun (1.5 sigma) she was before while other BBs with 1.8 sigma or higher hit like they are supposed to.

I've also noticed a lot more shells seem to land behind enemy ships, whereas they would have landed before. I just put it down to a wonky day, but today in North Carolina the shells definitely seemed slower and I had to give targets more lead. Same in New Mexico vs a Myoko.

Could it be a problem with the locking mechanism?

I think have noticed an increased tendency of shots straddling a target, but I don't think its significant enough to indicate a change in the patch, could be just bad RNG.

Oh thank god I thought it was just me being derpy, or bad RNG...one of the two. However like you I've seen my accuracy go to sh*t lately even at optimal ranges like 10km my rounds will either go behind, in front or land miles in front of my target, my Monty has had trouble hitting everything since the last patch and my Kurfurst doesnt seem to want to land any of her shells and when she does almost no noticable damage or citadels. It could also be lack of coffee in me...

Yeah. Something felt off after the patch (playing Fuso mainly).

 

But even if a lot of people chime in, it could still just be a 'bad day'. Statistically, lots of people have bad days simultaneously.

Something has changed, it feels like the models are misplaced sometimes for me.. noticed this when playing a BB and watching incoming shells pass through my deck and make a watersplash, right beneath my ship?

 

then i tried the fubuki and when i launch torps the hit the water about a shiplength ahead of my ship.. maybe its my client but i tried changing the graphics up and down but nothing improved.

Just seen on another thread somebody asked on the reddit Q&A about it. Sub_Oct said nothing had chnaged but said looking at the stats to see if anything was broken was something he would do.

noticed a change in BB aiming behaviour as well. but cruiser seems to behave the same as before, no change on them. BB were already frustrating with their shell actually avoiding the ennemy, now i just won't play them anymore.

Least they are going to check it, it's getting frustrating putting normal lead time on at 10-15km and see all your shots land way in front or straddle the target.

I thought about that but 5 days of continuously "bad RNG" is too much. This must be something else.

Just shot at an afk Hindenburg at 14km who was still and every shot landed about 30ft in front of him...it aint bad luck something in the back end is off.

The only problems I noticed was when I didn't aim well enough. I'm still devastating cruisers and DDs with BB AP just like before the patch.

One possible explanation for ships like New Mexico: Their range got buffed a couple of patches ago. Dispersion was pretty bad to begin with, now it's ridiculous at the new max range.

missing a lot after patch and cant get any normal score 15000 dmg before easily around 45000 with a cruiser tier 6. also a lot of hits and no damage, just now first 20 hits with a leander on a yorck no damage at all.I hope there will be a new patch to fix this also had when i aim that i fly above them very annoying this kills all the fun of the game.

Played almost exclusively Yorck+Molotov since patch and never hit so much before. 41% and 40% MBH respectively. Oh and a few mtaches of Fuso. Couldnt hit crap, but thats completely normal for Fuso.

WG, if you indeed changed something, dont revert back please.
