We can safely assume that the Zeppelin will be UP considering WGs balancing of German ships and tanks.

I assume that the torps will be dropped in a 270° spread which will create a nice fan like spread when you drop all three squads ( a nice star pattern).
With a gap big enough to fit three Grosser Kurfursts broadside on between two torps.
Another potential balancing factor will be the average speed but only 2km range, a 75% chance of 75% of the dropped torps to be duds and a 0% chance of causing a flooding.

Also, no alt attack because you have to balance the crap out of German ships.

 

We better wait for the Russian premium, which has only one TB squad but has ultra fast torps, each plane drops 4 of them, and they track the target across the map which makes your planes more survivable as you can drop your torps in A1 and kill two Yamatos, one Kurfurst and a Shima in J10 45 secs later.

Though you may be correct 3x5 TP could well be to much. We will have to see how the supper testers find her

Yorck is good, Nurnberg is fragile but is pretty powerful in the right hands, Karlsruhe? Not really any worse than all the low tier garbage boats out there.

I'm sorry but the Germans have what is probably one of the most solid branches out there, with a few gems and overall a solid average.


So no, German vehicles in WG games overall have nothing to complain about.

Should be interesting.

Standard hangar size for tier 8.

Fighters are faster than the competition but has less health and lower damage.

Torpedo bombers are slower and with less health but has higher damage torpedoes and with 3 sec arming time (0.5 sec less than normal).

 

Seems to go the route of the Kaga with higher than normal skill ceiling.

The Ju 87 C was supposed to be able to carry both torpedoes and bombs. So nothing special.

The JU87 was a multi purpose platform, it could and did carry a lot of stuff other than bombs. Was rarely used otherwise thou as the Luftwaffe had better planes available for the other tasks like the HE111 for torpedo operations since it had much longer range than the JU87. On a carrier it makes sense thou to use the smaller planes as range is not that much of an issue.

Germany never really had a use for a light torpedo bomber other than for a possible CV project, so for the most part they left that to their medium bombers He 111, Ju 88 and Do 217. They did have small numbers of torpedo carry capable single engine float planes though.

So we get to choose (actually WG gets to choose) between two projects: Ju 87 C or Fi 167. Both equally viable I guess.

Navalised JU 87. Germany Developed a JU87 with Folding wings the JU87C (and Flown). It did actuly fly and infact almost 1000 arrester gear landing were completed on dry land. Not sure if the Torpedo Pic is a German Mock up or if they were flown.

(edit) the last pic seems to confirm JU87s did indeed conduct operations with torpedoes

Too bad that smokestack wasn't in the blueprints.... nor the recognition drawing.... or anywhere.... I mean they had ACTUAL blueprints and drawings of the ship and they fail to make the superstructure look like them. XD I am mildly entertained, annoyed and unsurprised by WG at this point. Also WTB Stuka's with Fritz-X bombs please! And I will be rather unamused if the Stuka's down have a the classic Stuka sound when attacking... Make it so WG!

In reality She never had the Cap on the top of the smoke stack.... BUT SHE WAS NEVER COMPLETED. Just about Every Image you find online has her with that Stack.
