For the love of God, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE i am on my knee's and begging, please Wargaming,,,,,do SOMETHING to help Cruisers survive against BB. Again i was just fighting a BB at long range in St Louis and doing ok then a damn Yamato from 25k blew me away AGAIN from full health to nothing in one hit, DO SOMETHING !!!!!!!!!

 

Decrease BB accuracy at long range for a start which would also help cut down BB camping, give cruisers better armour angles because at the moment angling means nothing, BB can blast you at almost any angle. 

 

Almost no cruisers anymore because they are SO hard to play. They are constantly overmatched and punished in every game by BB.

 

BB can blast a cruiser in one or two salvo's but Cruisers must use skill and tactics and hundreds of shots to kill a BB.

 

DO SOMETHING before cruisers disapear altogether.

Agree. Nerfing BBs acuracy over 15km by 50% would do the trick. I see more and more BS with spoter planes

 

I think most BB players pick spotter planes for the ability to shoot over islands or better shoot into smokes, not for the range.

Yup thats what I do with mine. Very helpful when their is a AP/HE spamming cruiser hiding in smoke :trollface:

Guys, i fully agree that BB should have the strongest guns and best armour in the game just as they did in the real world but this is getting silly. Some high tier BB can get thier detection down to 12- 13 km and can overmatch ANY CA. Just please, give CA a chance ,,,,,,

Guys, i fully agree that BB should have the strongest guns and best armour in the game just as they did in the real world but this is getting silly. Some high tier BB can get thier detection down to 12- 13 km and can overmatch ANY CA. Just please, give CA a chance ,,,,,, 

 

Wait till the Brit BB with 11km detection turns up

Yes 40% winrate 20 k average dmg in yamato shoot in smoke like pros:)

its kinda frustrating that a BB can take out over 90% of your health in just one hit...

 

its not fun anymore to play cruisers.

 

please give a repair to every cruiser or nerf BB's

 I find that 9/10 times this happens because you are not playing attention to what is going on. Been on both ends of this.

So I want my DDs to counter BBs this exact same way.

 

Right, that will never happen

 

And yes, cruisers are pretty much worthless now. Especially tier 5, 6 and 8. BB food pretty much.

So you have not worked out how to send 12 torpedoes at a BB that can not see you???, guess you need to l2p your ship, but then again looking at your stats you have, so why are you moaning???

And this is exactely what will happen more often if WG should ever lower the accuracy of BBs at higher distances.

What? You decreased your speed and turned in to evade my salvo? Doesn't matter, my RNG-guided shells now cover 4 km². One will hit your citadel one way or the other. :teethhappy:

 

Btw: What exactely can a CA do to a DD within 30 seconds? :yes_cap:

And if after 40 seconds this torpedo who are spoted 10 seconds before impact hit BS that player should delete game. Torpedo dds are class that does SMALLEST AVERAGE DMG in game. So it ia not ltp isuse but torpedos got nerfed hard. Spread is increaded. Detectibility is increased and ships with hydro also sis not help.

I love cruisers it was the branch i choose when i started, but i dont feel like im contributing anything i couldn better ina dd or bb, im tring but no matter what i do i know ima eat a cit fast, dosent mean ima give up, oohh hell no, but it is a uphill currently, bdw a fully concealment spec tirpitz is even more lol with its secs buffed :trollface:

Nothing on 15 km plus. While BS on higher tier will with ease punish ca. 

 

Problem with bb vs ca is very good accuracy and overmatching on t8+ BS which also carry hugh firepower or brutal alpha. 

 

I have no problem with bs deleting ca on 10 km same as not having problem with ca deleting dds on that range. 

 

But problem is that Ca gets delete regulary on 15+ km eaven if they do not play like idiots.

I'm racking up 100k damage in a Minotaur on multiple games and my team will still lose, why? Nothing wrong with CAs/CLs simply most BB players are utter shite and prefer to snipe from 17km away because RNG will net you a lucky citadel and the game rewards you for dealing a % of the target's HP as damage. So why get close and scratch that nice shiny paint. Let the Minotaur take on the Izumo, Baltimore, Des Moines and Kagero, sink the BB and T10 CA and almost get cross torp'd by the enemy CV while the brave BB gives supporting fire, 5km behind you.

My fav ship type is Cruiser and I dont have that big problem with getting one shotted, I cant remember that happening (except when playing Nberg). The closest I come is I got 80% of my health deleted when playing Moskva, but I was showing broadside and didnt maneuver so it makes sense. 

 

I do agree tho that Cruisers have biggest skill ceiling and getting punished is much easier than any other class.

Put it into perspective... 15 km for a BB is like 12 km for a CA. Depending on tier, etc. And this is a range where, I dare to say, a CA can do damage more reliably to a DD than a BB to a CA at 15 km. And even at 15 km a CA can do more to a DD than a BB to a CA because for all the "he took 90% of my HP from 20 km away" incident there are several other situations where it didn't work. Not just on long ranges, but also at shorter distances. Broadside CA at 8 km? No problem. 10 shots, 4 misses, 3 bounces, 3 overpens.

BBs basically trade reliability for the (possible) potential to do high damage even at higher ranges, gun-wise.

I yet have to see that CAs get regularly deleted at 15 km+ without them playing like idiots or at least predictable. I don't say it doesn't happen but you make it sounds like every match you see CAs popping just because they are getting looked at. In my experience this is not the case. What does this "regularly" mean for you? Every game, every second game, every tenth?

Increase BB accuracy. 

Idiots that sail straight get punished. 

People try and dodge will not get hit by that stray shell.

 

terrible idea, this has been established.

 

Close range ie anything under 11km will result in the CA getting instantly deleted.

Give cruisers T5+ or 6+ heal. Give them an extra charge for it starting T8. That'd be a good start.

Guys, i mainly play cruisers and sometimes for several hours a day. 6000+ games now. I am a VERY aggressive player and accept that this means i will have a very low survival rate,,,,not a  problem for me. I also have no problem being killed in a fair fight but this business of a BB deleting me from 20k+ or suddenly appearing 12-13k from me then deleting me is getting a bit much. All i ask is for a bit of balance, give me a slight chance to angle and have a fair fight, not be insta-deleted. The skill level required to play cruisers succesfully is what keeps me playing them, they can have a huge influence on a game. Yesterday on North Map i defended A cap in my Minotaur, i killed a Yugumo then held off 4 BB and 3 CA for 15 minutes, i sank 3 before being finally killed. My team were able to cap B,C and D caps and we won. Good game and my contribution allowed the win.

I think some changes would improve the game.

1.lower accuracy of BB at long range.

2. Improve armour of CA to allow for angled defence.

3. Increase detection range for all BB ( They are 60,000 ton monsters not dinghy's after all).

4. Detectability after firing. At the moment ALL ships have 20 sec increased detectability after firing, change this to reflect type of ship and gun calibre. DD-5 sec. CA-10 sec. BB-20sec. Removing stealth fire was a good move but it needs a tweak.

 

Well thats what i think.

A buff to some cruisers' HP would be fine.

 

Especially ones that were negatively affected by stealthfire removal.

 

Also nerf battleships' stealth after firing cooldown. Right now, if a CE specced BB fires, he ALWAYS has 10 seconds of loading time where his camo kicks back in.
