British BB (mod. Lion class) at Tier X, WoWS ASIA seems to have an (unintentional) scoop of some sorts.

I encountered this picture on reddit, where it was exposed by someone who looked at the announcements on the ASIA-portal regarding the new PvE campaigns. Probably an unintentional leak... then again. Maybe not, and the British BB's are closer than we might think (Gamescom 2017).

 

EDIT: it turns out it's a plausible modified Lion class... With radar...

Radar on a BB is straight up the dumbest crap ever. Cruisers are supposed to be the utility class, but we've gone from hydro being added to them to Def AA and now radar starts popping up.

 

Another one of WG's great attempts to lower the BB population no doubt.

That's not Vanguard, her turrets don't look like that at all. Looks much more like one of the Lion designs with some tweaks and changes made.

But still, she only has 8x15/42's which is very under-gunned compared to all the other T10 BB's, wonder how (if?) )they buffed those up from what are on Hood/Warspite.

Indeed, Vanguards turrets looked more like Warspite's (hardly a surprise there), but this could be a fantasy 1950's upgrade,

However even with fantasy 16- 18" I don't see Vanguard playing at T10

Using quick fix consumables to balance tier 8+ was always silly. Hopefully Nelson doesn't get radar at tier 7.

This is a 1944-1945 Lion design, so no crazy 6" or 3" dakka from the 1950s.

Lets see if it is real and what the spec say. Maybe the radar has 5km range and last for 10 seconds and since she only has 8 guns in a 2*4 configuration at T10 it will need some tricks like faster reload or possibility to actually hit stuff at range or it will be a real drag to play unless she has no citadells and 3m side armor but i kind of doubt that this will be the case.
