That is ugly IMO.

Tier 5 apparently. Looks like lots of AA crammed on there.

Definitely won't be as good as Nikolai, but i actually hoped it would be this ship and not Arkhangelsk as the announced premium VMF BB.

Just please do not overprice it like Texas.

Going from Nicolai to this in one tier does seem rather... odd? I mean 4x76mm to all those 37mm + more 76mm + all those machinegun's.

Guess WG didn't want to give it defAAA so the base AAA had to be 'stronk' to start with :D

Can we stop and look at the 61k hp on a tier5 ship with very little superstructure to hit?

I know it's a WIP, but christ....

I shame famiry

EDIT: Using previous Russian ships as a basis for AA, single 37mm 70-k mounts on mid tier ships deal about 5.6 dps per mount at 3.2km, and quad 37mm 46-k mounts are 12.3dps per mount
So with the 37mm alone, it's 90+12 dps at 3.2km base
Luckily, every Russian 76mm mount is terribad, so unless they pull a new one out of their rears, long range AA will be worse than bad.

...you do realize there is this thing called Horsepower, that is generally abbreviated hp? notice how it's right next to the speed of 23kts?

It looks really unique, like coming from a sci-fi film. But seen the current Tier 5 ships matchmaking...

Meh.

Meh.

Taking a carrier in your division guarantees top tier in 99 percent of tier 5 games. But you still need to find the masochist who wants to play a carrier. Also AA looks alright for its tier.

Of course we don't yet know anything, still for a moment I got concerned for T5.

Then I quickly realized that T5 is already getting the love from anything above lead by Scharnhorsts, so it's whatever really.

It look like upgraded Nikolai. I'm interested about that russian BB, but.... imo it look bit fantasy ship, not historical one. Any stories or history on that ship?

Oktyabr%27skayaRevolyutsiya1934.jpg

That was it in 1934 after a major refit, I think they added further AA guns in 1941 and 1944, and IIRC WG said it would representative of it's 1944 state.

Hence a lot of AA, which likely means it's going to be a Russian Texas basically.

it is a Gangut class BB, and was rename the October Revolution in 1925. and saw service in WW2 largely supporting round offensives with artillery fire.

Guns are 305mm... at tier 5 that seems very weak to me.

Looks like the Russian version of Texas, with less low range AA and slightly more long range AA...

Texas:                              Stalinskaya:

10x76mm                        12x76mm

40x40mm                        20x37mm

44x20mm                        20x12,7mm

Depends if turret B can be fired when not full broadside.
