If it had better AA and/or better torpedoes than Nürnberg so would he be great. But now. Nope. That British look really fun But i agree. MM sucks for those. De Grasse is already in testing the makarov is a clone of a german ship so should only require the minimum of testing and the Gallant who's stats i cant find right now might be similar enough to other dd's to require only a little testing as well. Either way De grasse seems fun and the Gallant as well Makarov eh its a lazy clone ship so unless they make it different somehow i do not see the point. Since Ranks are ingame now again, ranked seems to be in sight. Cant think about Tier6 only, maybe Tier6 starters again and then Tier7? Dont know, we will see. Admiral Makarov will be tested according to the same calender. There's some speculation going on as to how this ship will be attainable. No. Only if they are overpowered and/or have a unique thing that makes them fun to play like the moving smoke of the Perth or the excellent guns and the manoverability of the Warspite (at least for me). For the rest, depends on how much you feel your money is worth, whether you need the extra EXP/creds, how much use you'd get from a trainer ship, and how badly you want to play that particular ship. Besides ranked, tier 6 will also be the max tier for the upcoming operations mode, which provides better rewards than CoOp. Cruisers not so much, but De Grasse looks like a pretty reliable long range HE spammer and has some very cool looking camo. There are a lot of premiums due over the next few months no? Gäsp! = Swedish for Yawn While some of you are irritated that Gallant was chosen instead of Glowworm, I think she has an interesting if less spectacular career, in RN there are so many great ships so I am not angry when we get one. Decent guns, concealment and torps. IJN DDs are always meh in Ranked, some can make them work very well but they're not good team ships IMO. Farragut has poor torps and won't be able to do the same tricks as Benson, Sims or Mahan. Remains to be seen what smoke Gallant has, if it mirrors USN smoke then it simply will be OP and it'll be the Ranked go to ship. On classes that are dependant on stealth I don't think that being uptiered is much of a problem. At least that is my experience. Only battleships suffer a lot when uptiered.
